Of those who cared enough about Hartford to vote last election, 51% said no, we do not want Mr. Perez as Mayor. Will the voice of the people be heard this time?

Ahhhh, Duh! We knew this so-called Mayor is a bad seed, but the Hartford people still re-elect these types in. It is not sad, it is normal in today's society. He will get some glam job after his time in jail. Or play the race card, who know's, who cares!

Bye Bye Mayor...

How foolish. After everything John Rowland went through and Perez did this. What a fool! He needs to resign right away.

Poor Hartford. Just what the city needs on top of its other troubles. Perhaps in a few months, we'll know for sure how bad the misconduct was - somewhere between stupid and unethical to positively criminal.

can't use political office for self enrichment - no matter how small or large the benefit is. it is a no no. actually most politicians would agree that you just are not suppossed to get caught.

You can take the kid out of the Gang but you can't take the Gang out of the kid.

Between Perez and Gaffney Connecticut Democrats have a lot to be proud of.

At least Eddy Baby can be the Mayor of Carl Robbins Correction Institute.

I wonder what size sock he will need?

This low life should resign now. It seems to me that this country is full of scum bag leaders like him. What ever happened to honest hard working people. This creep is supposed to set a example.

A true mayor and leader of a city would tell his local businesses to find 7 or 8 projects around their community that they feel they can afford to do for free to benefit the citizens of that city, something that would equal the profit they would receive by doing a job for him personally. This would be their gift to both the town and the mayor to show they are part of a team of leaders in the community. This would be their "ticket" into the social circles of government.

I didn't vote for him(I DO live in Hartford, no matter what my posting location says). And ask Pastor Stan what happened when he ran against Eddie.

Eddie is at the beginning of "the Johnny Rowland Perp Walk". Just hope he does not get Judge Dorsey who let Rowland off with a light sentence where he only was in prison 10 months. Hope he draws Judge Alan Nevas who I believe gave corrupt Bridgeport Mayor Gamin 9 years.
Nevas and Dorsey are Federal judges. Perez was indicted by a State grand jury.

Maybe we can turn the XL center into a prison and charge admission. It is a shame, we are like to get some left wing nut, who will enable the residents. Little Miss Hartford can dance about it though.

I agree with previous posts, it is about time. Let's see if the truth does come out and to what extent this goes. Oh No, will Helen Ubinas write about this?????
