I thought that the affirmative action hire was going to solve Hartford's crime problem.

I'm shocked...
|
The reason people are reluctant to report a crime, is that when they do report a crime, their name and address is published in the news paper the following day. This policy leads the "Gang Bangers" right up to your door. Why do you think the "Don't Snitch" is practice so often? You must live in an ideal community. |
|
Socked?? In which planet are you living?? Do keep up with current events. |

tipper, where the hell is temecula? It sounds like a disease.

Very true. There is this thing called witness protection that the HPD doesn't know too much about. You try to do the right thing in the community and end up getting your home invaded because the HPD leaked all your info. Everyone feels like "why should we try to meet the autorities half way when they don't try to meet us the same distance". Evryone just wants to be safe because Snitches get Stitches in Hartford courtesy of the HPD's lack of giving a F U Calvin Klein! |

SOLUTION? LET'S KEEP VOTING THE SAME
PEOPLE INTO OFFICE..... |
|
Sorry, but capitalism is not the problem. In fact, it is the only solution. We created this mess with the expansion of the welfare state. As for people "fighting for scraps," well, that's a direct result of the decisions they've made in their lives. Granted, there are a few exceptions, but they are few and far between. |

Blacks are two hundred years behind everyone else - and have alot of catching up to do --------- i'm not condoning the violent behavior but instead of pointing fingers there ought to be arguments over a solution -- to get them where they are suppose to be. Don't forget, we kept them down and held them back for so long. God Bless.

Who wrote this article, a second grader, and then who proofed it?
These crimes are lifestyle related, simple...people choose drug dealing and it is a jungle where survival is the name of the game. These are NOT random acts of violence, these people do business together. Don't cloud the issues here! |

Whew, thank God we are finally getting a horse patrol. Are you kidding me?!?!
|
|
shocked.........why would you be,i see you live in crime free maine....its obviously a totally differnt world you live in up there compared to hartford...DUH |
|
It's 100% lack of personal responsiblity. With the high number of blacks in the North End this comes as no surprise. |

time for the State Troopies to do Hartford's finest job. They are too busy counting the days for their retirements or finding another easy assignment to live off the public dole. He If you don't believe me ask Mr. Hector Robles who is going to run as a state legislator, of course with the blessing of el senor alcalde. No shame!!!!!

300 more cops won't do any good if they don't get out of their cars & out of the Meadows. The ones we have would be plenty if they could get the co-operation of the populace. They can only get that with daily community relations. One citizen at a time! |
