Maybe the man in this story is not guilty of anything.

Connecticut only seems to have admitted one court "mistake" in over 2 centuries. Tillman, convicted of rape, spending almost 2 decades in prison was released and paid off. He's the exception.

You have police investigators sending racist emails to each other taking pictures of dead minority citizens, putting chicken bones and watermelon seeds in the scene, putting racist captions underneath and emailing each other. You have a Trooper flying a helicopter after making terrorist threats to kill other police officers and destroy aircraft at an airport blowing it up.

You have judicial branch whistleblowers coming forward about bid rigging for court cleaning services, alteration and the destroying of evidence on court hard drives, case rigging, retaliation, nepotism, and the defrauding of taxpayers. The accused abusers in the system, sat on the panel hearing the whistle blowers. The whistle blowers were terrorized by private investigators, were threatened, and were either suspended or fired.

Coleman was processed through this "system".

"Allowing an inmate to die — absent intervention by the state — could have a profoundly detrimental effect on other inmates," Lynch said.

Heavens. We wouldn't want to detrimentally effect these nice folks.

Let him die.....the slime ball was convicted of sexual assault and he wants to challenge the judicial system. Like why would anyone in this society even care about a worthless degenerate like him starving himself to death. Save the tax payor money and let him go.

Yeah, maybe his wife didn't recognize him when he raped her. Sounds like he has a valid case, you know how these victims lie.

If I went to prison because I had to rape my wife for sex I'd want to starve myself too. Hope it was good for you.

The judge should say to the defendant, "we do not care, if your plan works, the state will save some money".

In the past it was reported in Connecticut newspapers that a gang member with a rap sheet raped his girlfriend, he got probation.

A youthful armed robber with a rap sheet was given 10 years probation, not prison.

5 CT DOC Guards killed an inmate who was facing face down in 5 point restraints. I saw the video of the killing on Channel 8 News. I haven't heard any of those guards being charged with murder or even losing their jobs.

A felon on probation stabbed a US Marine coming home to Connecticut. The felon wasn't even violated on probation for almost killing 3 people. The US Marine woke up in the hospital with 13 stab wounds and was arrested by police for having caused a disturbance for having been stabbed, facing 6 months in prison for the "offense".

Connecticut "Justice" is blind.

http://thegetjusticecoalition.blogspot.com/20...

Police, DCF, and other Connecticut officials will gladly, and knowingly, take false allegations. It's about processing numbers, not guilt or innocence.

You are more likely not to get a deal and prosecuted to the maximum, even if you are not guilty of anything in Connecticut, if you are #1 have money to pay a lying Connecticut lawyer, and #2 if you have no political connections, and especially if # 3 you complain about any official or official procedure in Connecticut.

There is a complete disparity of justice in Connecticut. One person will get probation and another can get 25 years in prison for the same "offense"! Didn't a Connecticut probation officer commit rape over years, just get probation and kept his pension.

So and official can commit rape and sexual assault, maybe hundreds of times, not get prison, AND still get paid tax dollars for a cushy state retirement!

We have innocent people in this state starving because they have to choose between heating oil, ct state income tax and food. Let him starve if he wants just make him sign a document so his wife he raped comes back and tries to sue.

He was involved in a dispute over custody of the children and the wife accused him of rape. He gets arrested, she keeps the kids. Great move. No physical evidence presented. Why believe her over him?

so he was to starve himself to dead. Let him. This state and country is strange. It supports abortion rights, parental rights over children being abuse and assisted suicide for the sick but one man in prison wants to kill himself they get all hot and bothers. As for the ACLU, they are the SS of the left. They will be the death of all of us as they force down dirt bags rights down our throats. Their motto: Are you trash ? Call us we will defend you?

If the State let this man starve to death. Then the ACLU would be screaming about the mistreatment of the prisoners in CT and his sons would be suing the State. This is no win situation. Although having him found competent and have him sign a waiver. Let the rapist kill himself. Just make sure no one profits off his slow, cowardly suicide.
