He really is nothing but a sleze bag. Never left the streets in his mind and still acts as though its a gang he runs. Don't get me wrong, my vote will go for none of the above. But slezey Eddie takes the cake. Put him in jail where he should have been put years ago.

If Ms. Gonzalez played by the (antiquated) rules, she wouldn't have been disqualified for petition problems. AND, if Perez played by the rules, than this investigation won't be a problem for him, will it?
Stop hatin' on Gonzalez y'all. She's not doing anything any differently from what every other politician here would do.[Give me a break!! Key word "false allegations" and he has given them everything they needed and paid in full. I'm not saying it was Minnie but someone put the false allegations in the get the ball rolling and I wouldn't be surprised if it was one of our State Reps. So this is what they do all day instead of working on the issues. They find things to attack people. Let's talk about the issues and Mayor Perez has does more than any Mayor in Hartford to address the issues. No one is perfect but he has a record that speaks for itself I must say. Puulleezzee!! I didn't know that you couldn't use a minority city contractor for a private job and pay the fair market value. Is that really illegal because please round up the troops :-)And add to fact that he ask them to investigate other things and this is what they come up with. Give me a break for real.

This is a shame. Unfortunately when there's that much smoke there's usually fire.

The average Hartford resident can't get a top contractor to do remodel work on their house without paying until over a year later. It just doesn't work that way. Unless you're a politician with power and you use that power for access and personal gain.

Even if he paid for the work in full, conveniently during election season a year or more later, it stinks and looks bad.

The mayor shouldn't be using the city's resources (and contractors) to benefit in ways the average resident he represents can't.

Its a shame.
