Very disappointed in the service and honesty done at this establishment. I grew up in this community but have been gone for almost 31 years. Picked a car up from my mother, who still lives in tulia, that she has not driven in a few years. All it REALLY needed was a new tire and battery to get it to where I now live. I bought the battery and installed it. Had SWISHER TIRE come out and put a new tire on the car. The car was running but decided to have a bit more work done in tulia to help out the community. WELL, this place said it had to be TOWED! They said that they had to troubleshoot a drain on the battery! They took out 3 fuses (which I later had to replace) and charged me for over an hour labor. What was supposed to take an afternoon to do took them over a week! All I wanted was an oil change, state inspection, minor tune-up, and for them to replace wiper blades (which I also provided). They may have replaced the spark plugs but not the wires. Didn't do the oil change. So, bottom line, they charged over $300 to do an inspection, replace wiper blades (which they tried to charge me for the cost of the blades!), replace 4 spark plugs and to take out and keep 3 fuses. I took the car to a reputable place where I live and they replaced the fuses and did a diagnostic and said there was no problem with a drain on the battery! Haven't had a drain yet either! So much for taking care of your own in Tulia. It is more like "take you for what you can" I would like to thank SWISHER TIRE! THEY REPLACED THE TIRE WITHOUT BEING PAID FIRST! IN FACT, IT WASN'T UNTIL 3 WEEKS LATER THAT I REMEMBERED WE HADN'T PAID THEM AND ASKED MY MOTHER IF SHE HAD PAID THEM WHEN THEY CAME AND INSTALLED THE TIRE, SHE SAID NO. I CALLED SWISHER TIRE AND THEY SAID JUST TO SEND A CHECK ....NO BIG DEAL! WHAT AN AWESOME COMPANY!
