By the way, Eddie Long, you should have kept your mouth shut. That is the most pathetic statement ever. You know as well as the other three commissioners that this is wrong in so many ways.

It is a sad day for the City of Harrodsburg to think that the likes of Marvin" Bubby " Isham could possibly decide what's good for our town.

OMG wisdom and guidance???? What a joke!!! Don't you mean small town politics? There is no way the people in this town would support him if they would take a minute to learn what kind of man he really is!! Simple as that!!!

I'm really shocked at the comments I'm reading on here. Who cares how "nice" she was to you. Is that supposed to excuse the FACT that she did wrong in burying all that crap in a cemetery, where peoples loved ones are buried??..oh well, who cares what she put underground, she made the surface look pretty. What a joke. Then, all the bashing on Commisioner Isham for "outing" her. Good for him, or anyone else that would have done it. He did the right thing. I would be outraged if one of my loved ones was buried there and she showed no more respect than that to them or their families. Why is it when someone gets caught doing wrong, people immediately start pointing fingers at the person or people that found them out. She did it...she needs to own it!!!..no conspiracy here...she just flat out got caught!!!..good work on Commisioner Isham's part I believe. That's what you call having the best interest of the community at heart.

Well, dumb Bubby Isham finally prevailed. And we will see the cemetery become a far less beautiful place--whereas now it's one of the most well-kept small town cemeteries to be found anywhere. But Bubby Isham doesn't care about that. It is obvious that he had a grudge against Ms. Carter and was damn determined to get rid of her, and the other commissioners caved in an went along with him. I do not admire them for that I am especially disappointed in one of them. I thought he had some scruples and was living according to them. It is sad that he got on board with the likes of Bubby Isham who is, I fear, becoming typical of Harrodsburg's so-called leaders. Harrodsburg is struggling along, running itself, and the "big people" are not remotely concerned. All they think about is making another buck. I have no use for Bubby Isham and I predict that we will rue the day when Jerri Carter was cut loose from her position as cemetery sexton.

Since Bubby Isham has been the commissioner over the cemetery, it has improved tremendously. I have been through there to visit the graves of my family and have personally seen him planting flowers and working in the cemetery. That is who you have to thank for the improvements at the cemetery.

That's a shame. Do not all involved believe in karma? Have none of these people ever heard "what goes around comes around" or "you reap what you sow"?

To Crap - you must either be connected to a past city commissioner or else to Bubby's ex-wife. I saw Bubby planting flowers around the old building up there in the cemetery and it looks better than it has looked in years. I did not see him planting flowers at his house. I don't even know where he lives. He has taken a lot better care of the cemetery than Joe Hood ever did.

You may be right. But from what I've been reading, no one is actually looking at the fact that she DID do what she was accused of doing. She deserved to be fired for that!!..who cares who went after her for it.How dare she disrespect a burial ground like that with no regard for the deceased's final resting place. You people act like you all hang out at the cemetery or something..geez. This is no more than that same small town gossip bullshit. Always up in each others personal business.Bottom line...She DID NOT do her job , Bubby did...period!!!!!! and who really cares if he has a girlfriend or not or if he planted flowers in his own yard..blah blah blah...some people have to much time on there hands and it's completely beside the point.

Ok, I understand but, unless I missed something or I read something wrong she was not dismissed for the what was buried at the cemetery. It was something else entirely. From what I understand see was cleared of those charges through and by the City of Harrodsburg.
