One thing he was good at was trying to deal with all these teens that are on drugs so bad in GC .
and underage drinking.. and all the perv`s But i also see were he looks down on some people also. maybe we will get someone in office that wont do that... But like everyone In GC give them a lil bit of power and they think they own the town..
all we can do is hope for the best with the next one.

Silvis was not from GC...and was like most in this position was not qualified to be in it in the first place. What a hillbilly! I once had a case in front of him that he ruled against the facts even though they were substansiated by federal statute! All for the sake of kissing another locals ASS to get something for himself

Nesbit, 41, is cross-filing on the Democratic and Republican tickets to pick up the seat vacated by District Judge Lawrence Silvis. If elected, he would serve a six-year term.

Nesbit graduated from Grove City schools and graduated magna cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Mich. He has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Florida State University and has worked as a lawyer since 2005.

He and his wife Shannon have two children.

Silvis’ former seat is being covered by a temporary judge, David Fish. The judgeship encompasses Grove City, Jackson Center, New Lebanon, Sandy Lake and Stoneboro and Deer Creek, French Creek, Jackson, Lake, Liberty, Mill Creek, New Vernon, Pine, Sandy Lake, Wolf Creek and Worth townships.

I have Known Larry Most of my Life! Please don't listen to these Selfish Unknowing people that have commented badly ,previously on this Post! I have had several dealings with him over the years of his office as District Justice! And have nothing but the highest regards for him! The only reason any of these people would have bad things to say about him is because he probably found you guilty of the crime that you committed! We in this community only hope his replacement will do as good a job as he has!
Thank you for your time!!!!

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Aries

The prospect of travel really appeals to you today, especially if you don't have any holidays booked for the foreseeable future. So be careful if you're out shopping and you happen to walk past a travel agent's, because almost before you know it you could be sitting in there waving your credit card around and consulting your diary for the best day to take off for the wide blue yonder.
