A typical little danny BOY reply in appearing irrationally fanatical.
You condemn those with opinions opposing your own while fervently supporting the "majority rules" principle. 31 states have explicitly banned gay marriage. That's a majority of the people or legislatures in a majority of the states.
Obviously you support 'majority rules' only until the majority holds opinions different from yours and then you accuse them of 'moral repugnance'.
In your psychotic world you imagine yourself the "moral superior" to nearly everyone and entitled to pontificate and dismiss the opinions of others.
What a hypocrite.
As I said before, majority rules is not appropriate when deciding the rights of minorities.

So which is it - are you attacking me based on facts you know to be untrue or are you incapable of integrating new information?

IOW - are you lying or just stupid?

Nevermind - I already know the answer to that question. LOL!

Pointing out incidents of callousness from 1965

doesn't condemn him in 2012 -

it merely helps paint

a fuller picture of the man's character.

..........

Evolving...is that like flip...flop

1996:“I favor legalizing same-sex marriages” was an answer included on a signed questionnaire to a Chicago gay community newspaper when Mr. Obama was running for the Illinois state Senate. In 2011, a White House aide said someone else filled it out.

2004: As a U.S. Senate candidate, Mr. Obama tells Chicago public television “marriage is between a man and a woman.” In the same interview, Mr. Obama said he wanted to ensure gays and lesbians have “the rights of citizenship” but noted,“I don’t think marriage is a civil right.”

2008: Mr. Obama, running for president, again says marriage should be limited to unions between a man and a woman.“For me as a Christian, it’s also a sacred union… God’s in the mix,” he says in an interview with the Rev. Rick Warren, a leading evangelical minister.

2010: After signing the repeal of a ban on gays openly serving in the military, Mr. Obama tells reporters that “my feelings are constantly evolving” on gay marriage.

2011:“I’m still working on it,” Mr. Obama tells ABC News when asked if he would change his mind on gay marriage before the 2012 election.

2012:“I think same-sex couples should be able to get married,” Mr. Obama tells an interviewer for ABC.

How about this..Bill Clinton calling Obama an "amateur" and "incompetent".

Clinton continued to say, "the economy's a mess, it's dead flat. America has lost its triple A rating....you know better than Obama does," (urging Hillary to run against Obama in the primary) Clinton said.

Obama, Bill Clinton said, "doesn't know how to be president and is incompetent".

This is from a book..The Amateur, written by Edward Klein, former foreign editor of Newsweek and former editor in cheif of The New York Times Magazine.

Latest Rasmussen poll
Romney 50 %
Obama 43 %
Slowly but surely Romney is gaining.

Obama is going to lose by a landslide....all the pundits seem to be saying the same thing.

BYE BYE OBAMA....HELLO PRESIDENT ROMNEY

Understood, danny BOY.

You believe in majority rules until the results oppose your personal opinions then you call it morally repugnant and bigotry.

You've proven--again--that you are a lying hypocrite.

There is no rational reason to deny homosexuals civil rights.
To fight for those rights is not being a bigot at all. It is fighting bigotry.
The rational reason to deny homosexuals right to marriage in some peoples eyes is that they believe that the sanctity of marriage is between a man and a woman. It would be against what they believe is morally right. It would be against their religion. That is the rational reasoning behind some, if not most of those, who vote against gay marriage. And, they have every right to believe that way.

I wonder if liberals max out their credit cards and only make the minimum payment?

I wonder if liberals get credit card after credit card, maxing them out?

I wonder if liberals keep buying things knowing they don't have the money to pay for them?

I wonder if liberals don't mind that they have poor credit ratings?

They shouldn't mind all of the above because that is how Obama and the democrats are running this country.

When the right has a candidate that's a dud and they know it, they resort to re-arguing the 2008 election. It's a sign of defeat and desperation.

But maybe you can tell us, May - what's Romney's path to 270 electoral votes? Here's a map and the current state-by-state polling to help you.

That's not a "rational" reason. It is nothing more than using religion to justify a pre-existing prejudice.

People used Christianity to justify slavery and the subjugation of women. They were wrong then and they're wrong to use their religion to justify discrimination against homosexuals now.

I notice that your post is just an attack on the President and not advocating FOR your candidate. Why is that?

Maybe after you've figured out Romney's path to 270 electoral votes you can list his accomplishments for us.

It may not be "rational" to you, but it is to them. That is just how it is, whether you like it or not. I really don't think there is anything that you can do to change their mindset, so you are just beating a dead horse, just as I am, because there is nothing that I'm going to say to change your views about their views, and vice versa.

It is the moral obligation of all decent people to confront bigotry. That's how progress is made. Throwing up your hands and saying "they'll never change" is a guarantee that they'll never change.

Anyone who claims a "rational" basis for discriminating against homosexuals, when challenged, will always end up making an emotion-based argument. There is no rational defense for prejudice.

And just what it is that you do to go out and confront the so-called bigotry, outside of posting your views on here?
