Voter ID law sparks disenfranchisement debate

With election day less than four months away, a debate is getting more intense over whether the new state law requiring voters to show specific photo identification at the polls will be a tool for disenfranchisement.

free ids for those who cant afford them.... then they can show it and vote, i cant beleive ther are americans who dont have id's, how do they cash a check? or drive? buy cigs? alcohol? get their ebt cards? sect 8 bene's?.... id say if the repubs are against this, it shows who the illegal voters vote for.... and if the dems are against it, well u know.... but i can see how this law will probably disenfranchise voters who arent supposed to vote..........
