Wait a minute, just a few posts ago, you were suggesting that regulation is bad, now you say it's good. Before that, you were crying about the Morning Call shrinking its footprint, but bemoan media consolidation.
Either you don't know what your position is or you're a troll just looking force an arguement. Which is it?
<quoted text>
Nope... I've been consistent through out... I never suggested regulation is bad... in fact, I believe just the opposite.

Media consolidation is bad... as is MCall shrinking. And I put forth, that these two elements are related.

And looking deeper into this... Tribune is a private company... they don't even answer to stockholders. Dangerous times...

You didn't look deep enough. Tribune is a publicly traded company. If they were privately held, they might be less inclined to cut costs. The fact that they have to answer to their shareholder is the impetus behind maintaining profits.

BTW, you're looking like a troll more and more with each post.

Actually, now that you mention it, I do remember that. It turns out that you were finally partially right about at least one thing after being totally wrong on several. You're still a troll.

Here we have another victim of the Bush economy. Thank you President Moron.
I wasn't aware that Pres. Bush ran the Morning Call. Thanks for that information.

I'm still waiting to read the story about the John Edwards/ Rielle Hunter affair that came out a couple of days ago.
Another good example of how you must listen to talk radio for the latest news.
