What a group of comments. I served time, I also served my country. I have been a productive member is society since my release. I can also name quite a few others, who have done the same. Anyone who says it can't happen or usually doesn't happen is not as educated as they think. History supports this statement, what supports yours. Because I sold drug addicts drugs, in a drug infested neighborhood, I am somehow less than anyone else. I thought I was feeding my family and paying bills. Does that erase me serving my country? Do my 7 years serving my city, since my release not count because I'm a felon. Shortsighted people shouldn't talk or log in public.

Diggedy, I'm sure you are right, and I'm proud of you for turning things around in your life! Lots of people don't. We got off track because we were talking about a convict who, before going back to prison again for the umpteenth time, posted here and his post was filled with lies. He is a Viet Nam vet but he was court martialed. He's an awful human being and citizen, and I for one do not think he should ever vote again.

To "PA voter"....do you know Joseph Andreoli? Were you scammed by him too? If you do, please post a comment. He is back in prison and I know for sure he is trying to scam women again.

It's not like the US has a large percentage of citizens sent to jail, right?

And there's no correlation of the private sector prison for profit free market would never try to increase demand for prisoners by immoral methods or just outright lobbying for laws to improve their bottom line.

I just saw your post. I'm sorry if you've been waiting to hear from me. I was with Joey for 4 years while he was at Mahanoy. I sent him money, love letters, etc. When he got out he went to what he called his "wife". But I do know she is a lot older than he is. Yes, I do know he has a dog named Boots. Please do not tell him we are in contact because I am writing him again now...seeking revenge! When he went to Mahanoy the 2nd time, we wrote again, and I pretended to still care for him, but only so I could put the knife in, and I did! I asked him to sent me details on how I could smuggle drugs into prison for him. He sent it and I sent it to the warden. I spent 6 mos. in the hole. "Hell knows no fury like a woman scorned"!
