Spending money doesn't make these people legal. Imagine how much they would contribute if they were legal and worked for real wages with real employers instead of under-the-table employers. Then those workers would be like me, one of the working poor who don't qualify for state programs.

We have an immigration law. Is there some problem with reading and enforcing it? I am a business owner who doesn't share the opinion of the Texas Association of Business about supporting [ILLEGAL] immigration. I won't go out of business if I only find legal residents who speak English to work for me.

I have quite a few reletives who live in Texas and some that were there long before the Alamo,if you remember the Alamo,I have two hispanic Grandkids who live in Houston and some Great Grandkids, but they were legal,We need to go by what the Law on our constitution says,To the letter,No illegal immigrants, wheather it be Chines,Japanes , Hispanic,European,Asian,Africa n,or whatever, that is why the laws were written, and wheather it helps your State or not that does not matter,Get real and go by the Us Laws of our Great Nation,Print this if you want or whatever, but I am going to fight to keep all Illegals out.

I am sick of Wetbacks. They destroy neighborhoods, schools, drive up the crime rate, and force hospital emergency rooms to close. They cause my taxes to rise and flee back to Mexico after they commit heinous crimes.
Building the Wall along our southern border and severely punishing employers who employ them would be a great 1st step in controlling this invasion of human Roaches.

You are right Winslow, and a great many more should do the same,we need to think of all our own people,I owned and operated a very sucessful Shirt Mfg Co. and Silk Screening Business for 30 yrs in My home State of Tennessee,That is until the Fair trade act and all of our Textile Plants that were Mfg T-Shirts and Printiable wear, All moved To Mexico,Why don;t they stay there and operate them.It seems they want the whole cake.It is time for our Senate and House Of Rep's to do something about it,if it takes a Fence from one End of there Border to the other end.

Sorry, but...No Way will or can I buy into this BS! Come on Folks! The key word here is "ILLEGAL"! What's next? Open the prison doors and let those criminals go free too?! Take the politics and kick-backs out this equasion and our politicians will have a different viewpoint! But then again he won't be the Governor of TX for very long...Will he?

so true so lets talk about who was so stupid to vote in TX Gov.Rick Perry heres what he has to say and kinda scarry people in TX voted him in really sad ......So you don’t see this as a plot or some kind of conspiracy that’s going to tie the United States, Canada and Mexico together as the North America Union?
Look, I’m trying to secure the southern border, so the idea that somehow or another that we’re going to create this big, tri-lateral connection between Canadians, the United States and—we’re pretty independent in Texas. When we were created in 1845, we maintained that we could break away any time we got ready. As a matter of fact, we could break ourselves into five states if we wanted to. And there’s folks out in West Texas who still think that’s a pretty good idea
u can find this on this link....http://stopspp.com/sto pspp/?p=54 .......... do all people in TX think like Bush and Perry?
Unless you voted for perry WHY worry ?Do all the people where you are think like you?

Had to do with stopping the wrongfull interpertation leading to anchor babies. Another was about stopping aid to illegals... help if you can. thanks
