I have eaten at the fat cat along with many other skippack establishments. The fat cat is equal to or better than most.Great atmosphere, very good food, lobster bisque to die for. Great sandwiches, and a new limited dinner menu. Very reasonably priced. I would recommend it to anyone.

Dunno about the Fat Cat but the Parc Bistro is just out-of-this world.

The food was overpriced. The serverice was really slow. It's not the worst I've ever had, but that's really the best I can say. I'd avoid this one.

Bad service - actually the servers were MIA so the chef took our order. Food was not what we ordered. Chicken with penne in an alfredo sauce. When it came it was spaghetti with no chicken. All for $12! When we complained, the response was 'oh, sorry'. Would NEVER go back and almost wanted to demand my money back b/c the experience was so bad.

I heard about this new place in Skippack called the Fat Cat Cafe, so I had to see for myself what the big buzz was all about. I read the comments good and bad about the service, the food and the prices. However, my overall experience was pleasant near to great. The food was good and you can't beat the prices. The staff was completely awsome and my family could understand the negative comment about this establishment. I guess it could have been ex-employees writing those negative comment I would recommend the Fat Cat Cafe to all

The staff was rude, service slow, and food cold. We politely complained and the server just looked at us like we were annoying her. Eating at this place was a real downer.

I am not an ex-employee of Fat Cat. I live in Skippack and dine regularly in the village with my kids and friends and spouse. I have gone to Fat Cat 3 times - each time the food was terrible. The service was fine. The first time, my son's fruit salad was rotten - not just over-ripe - but rotten. When I sent it back, the owner asked if I wanted to take home a slice of watermelon and told us the fruit was just purchased the day prior. Then she proceeded to sit at the front table and smoke a cigarette. NO JOKE. This was during at noon on a weekday with about 10 other customers there. The 2nd time, we ordered a pannini with basil, mozzarella and broccoli rabe. There was NO broccoli rabe in the pannini - just lettuce. The mozzarella was sour and mushy. And instead of fresh basil, a teaspoon of pesto was on the bread. The last time, I ordered a salad, thinking it was a safe order. I was wrong. The lettuce literally had MOLD on it. Needless to say we have given Fat Cat enough "chances" to get it right. I think my comments are fair and know SEVERAL Skippack residents who agree that the food at Fat Cat is not at all fresh or acceptable or fairly priced. Last, stay away from the "Princess Tea Party". I took my daughter and it was an overpriced horrible excuse for a nice day out with your daughter. I was embarrassed to be there. HORRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT!!

I haven't eaten at Fat Cat yet. I was wondering what it was like, now I don't think I'll bother. I would recommend the Black Dog Cafe (Asian Fusion) for lunch. I haven't had dinner there, but it's $8.00 for any lunch, large selection, plenty of food. I also like the Italian Deli,(Skippack Deli). I always get their chicken cutlet hoagie. We get one and split it for two people, again for lunch.
Basta Pasta is also very good.

You certainly can't beat any of the hoagies at the Italian Market. Best I've had in Montco.

This place is awful. They served us Mocha Lattes with Hersheys chocolate syrup and expired milk and a piece of pie with a fly on the glaze. No joking. We were so excited about getting a good cafe. Skippack can't seem to find a good coffeehouse.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Cancer

Be careful today Cancer, because your emotions could cloud certain issues as they often to and leave you feeling confused. You should be especially wary of believing what you want to believe, rather than believing the evidence in front of your eyes. It's easy to kid yourself now about someone's motives or reliability, even if deep down you know that you're telling yourself a load of old twaddle.
