I only wish someone could come take care of the deer in the woods behind our house!! We're hip deep in them and they're those mean suburban deer that know nothing bad will happen to them. When I drive into my driveway I can read their little minds, "yea lady...what are you going to do--use harsh language???".

Oh to live in Hardy where I could just shoot the dang things and have a nice dinner...:-)

We may kill them but we do eat them. I heard how mean those suburban deer were. They wait until you go to sleep and have parties on your decks and swim in your pools. All those beer bottles in the trash weren't put there by the racoons.

I went to the county to see if I could hire professional hunters to cull some out but the answer was a resounding "no". I'm concerned that there are so many they are vulnerable to disease or starvation this winter. It seems more humane to hunt some of them but I'm not an expert.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Capricorn

You're keen to look on the bright side of things and to ignore anything unpleasant or worrying. That's fine, provided that you're ready to face up to life's difficulties again tomorrow. But it's not such good news if you persist in looking the other way whenever a problem presents itself, especially if it's connected with your work or health. It may be time to face a few facts, Capricorn.
