I dont think she meant to kill her baby, to me was more like an accident. I dont know if some of you have been that hospital, i do and all i can said about it is that they dont offer a good service.

I agree with Danny. The story doesn't clue the readers in to much of the details surrounding the birth. How old was the mother? Did she know she was pregnant? Was she raped? Does she have other children? If she delivered the baby in a bathroom and didn't know she was pregnant and didn't receive pre-natal care, there is a strong probability that the baby may have been weak at birth and strangled on the umbilical chord. Have you ever seen the show on cable "I didn't know I was Pregnant?". It happens everyday.

She was only 16.. and she never abandoned the child in the bathroom like alot of the news are saying, she asked for help in the restroom, she did not know she was pregnant.

This lady, come from guatemala, she barely can speak spanish.
In South america (some places) they don't know about almost anything.
Maybe she didn't know she was pregnant, and when she try to pull of the baby...IDK... but this is soo sad.
