What's theoretical is that you can predict chance.
If it's predictable it's not chance.
If you flip a coin to be heads a million times in a row, what's the "chance" that it will be heads on the next flip?
50-50.
Or IOW the millionth and first coin flip can't be predicted...same as all the previous ones.

In probability theory, a martingale is a model of a fair game where knowledge of past events never helps predict future winnings.
In particular, a martingale is a sequence of random variables (i.e., a stochastic process) for which, at a particular time in the realized sequence, the expectation of the next value in the sequence is equal to the present observed value even given knowledge of all prior observed values at a current time.
.
.
An example martingale series can easily be produced with computer software:
Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software.
Enter 0.0 in the A1 (top left) cell, and in the cell below it (A2) enter =A1+NORMINV(RAND(),0,1).
Now copy that cell by dragging down to create 300 or so copies.
This creates a martingale series with a mean of 0 and standard deviation of 1.
With the cells still highlighted go to the chart creation tool and create a chart of these values.
Now every time a recalculation happens (in Excel the F9 key does this) the chart displays another martingale series.

A smart investor who begins funding his IRA at a younger age will always win the accumulation game.
this is more of your hooey bull.sht

What about the market crashes...obviously none of the so called expert investment specialist had foreseen the crashes that have been occurring since 1989. these crashes can and usually do devastate one's portfolio if they're in the market.

So, I guess a "smart investor" like yourself would know a way around these bad severe market trends..I know Vanguard REITs...ok

but you're still full of sh.it

Sometimes, Barack Obama acts like the Constitution does not apply to him and the Congress is an imaginary being. Friday, the United States Court of Appeals brought the president back to Earth and reminded him that that the Constitution’s Appointments Clause and the U.S. Senate are very much part of reality by voiding three of Obama’s recess appointments to the National Labor Relations Board.

Wrong.....again! So what else is new.

Most old people don't carry guns. Same is true with young people, they are too young to drive so no ID, and unlikely to have a gun at that age. And the poor, well they're too poor to afford a gun.

So you see, your response was dumb. Go to bed, your brain needs the rest.

Ahhhh, now you're changing the subject.

First you said they ALREADY HAVE acceptable ID. Now you're saying they CAN GET acceptable ID.

Why can't you pick a point and stick with it? Why does your argument constantly morph and change as people present evidence disproving it?

Oh. Nevermind. That IS why it constantly morphs and changes. LOL!

TaxNoMore really isn't worth replying to guys. His mind is completely closed to reality and to facts. And to justify his thinking, he makes up facts. There's nothing you can do with someone like that. If he ever says anything intelligent maybe I will write here. But he embodies everything wrong with Clearfield politics. Republicans are good, despite 30 years of republican representation for this area that corresponds to 30 years of economic collapse for this area. Just pray and it will get better. Ignore facts. Run from logic, thought, and history. Forget that people in this area are heavily reliant on "entitlements," and instead hate the provider of your food stamps and heating oil. I could continue going on, but you guys get it. This area has gotten what it deserves, and sadly it only reflects the lack of education of people in this area. And worse, it's bad enough the people here vote for policies that hurts them, but that it just makes it even worse for their kids and grandkids, who can't help having been born here. Rest assured they will grow up and want to leave the area after getting an education. The brain drain continues. And people wonder why this area gets worse and worse. Enjoy the ideology of no taxes, hate the black president (but not explicitly in those terms, because no one in this area is a racist (lol), of course... just say you don't like his policies and question his birthplace too), and enjoy God and Jesus, because that's all this area can cling to nowadays. Because voting Republican will do not a thing at all to bring jobs to the area, or stimulate education. Keeping cutting your nose off to spite your face guys.

Bill Clinton says Democratic presidents top Republican presidents in job creation
"
"
"
"

"

Are Democratic presidents better than Republican presidents at job creation? Former President Bill Clinton said so -- forcefully -- in his speech to the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte.

"Since 1961, for 52 years now, the Republicans have held the White House 28 years, the Democrats 24," Clinton said. "In those 52 years, our private economy has produced 66 million private-sector jobs. So what's the jobs score? Republicans 24 million, Democrats 42 (million)."

This illustrates the maturity level and the education level of the people in the area with respect to their Republican ideology. They don't vote Republican because of their sophisticated understanding of the issues. They vote Republican because they are uneducated and therefore stupid. Republican talking points are designed for consumption by the stupid. Thus Clearfield = Republican area, at least for the past 30 years. Interesting that over the last 30 years the area has gone down the tubes and is now a total hole. It's a shame the stupid bring down the entire area for the rest of us.

Not at all a victim you moron. Not surprisingly you miss the point. I do quite fine here. I simply laugh at the morons in this area who continually vote for policies against their own interests. It is entertaining in a way, sure... but also sad. If anyone is the victim in this area, it is people like you. I just feel no sympathy for you because you create and worsen the problems in the ballot box.... because of your own stupidity. See the last 30 years of what's gone on here. What else happened during those 30 years? Republicans run the area. People like you just make the place worse not better. Not for me... I do very well... but for kids in this area? Yeah... they leave in droves because they grow up and become educated and realize that nothing will get better here so long as idiots like the ones you elect run the area. Yay Glenn GT Thompson! What a great job he's doing for this area!!! Gimme a break.
