you know how to change locations. you could be anyone then, you could be dan the man, tax no more, you could even be me. why you could be everyone that posts here. just one person with many many names and locations. why would you disclose that kind of information? that should be kept to yourself. you could have alot of fun if you hadn't told you know how to change your location. why you might even be dave rogers and had your own post banned? you are smart enough to know how to change locations, yet dumb enough to reveal that info.

Obamacare and the 29-Hour Ceiling

In the Washington Post, Robert Samuelson highlights how Obamacare would needlessly complicate our society, make it more maddeningly litigious, give the I.R.S. more prominence,

and make it harder for workers to get employers to give them so much as 30 hours a week.

Samuelson writes that Obamacare would (at least for its purposes) alter the definition of “full-time worker.”

Currently the Bureau of Labor Statistics defines a “full-time worker” as someone who works at least 35 hours a week.

Obamacare would lower that to 30 hours a week.

Samuelson writes,“The difference matters, because [Obamacare] requires employers with 50 or more full-time workers to provide health insurance for those workers.

At the same time, no company has to buy insurance for part-time employees, defined as those working less than 30 hours a week.”

In other words, under Obamacare, get ready for the prominence of the 29-hour work week — with corresponding pay.

Of course, nothing can be quite so simple under a “law” that runs 2,700 pages in length and has already spawned an amazing 13,000 pages (and counting) of new bureaucratic regulations. Samuelson writes:

“Just recently, the Internal Revenue Service issued an 18-page, single-spaced notice explaining how to distinguish between full-time and part-time workers under the Affordable Care Act (‘Obamacare’)….

American women can now access eight vital preventive health care services, like mammograms, contraception and other disease screenings, with no out-of-pocket costs. This new provision will keep women healthier and help detect potentially serious conditions at an earlier, more treatable stage. All of this is thanks to President Obama’s Affordable Care Act and his commitment to providing all Americans with access to quality, affordable health care.

Did Romney want these women to die and not have cancer screening they couldnt afford? OH! He'd rather beef up military for 2 trillion...no wonder he lost......

I worked at a Little Caesars in Washington.

Pay was minimum wage, assistant managers made $10 an hour.

At first the cashiers had a tip jar, but later on our "head guy" took it and threatened to fire one of our cashiers over it, even though our manager didn't care.

Work was 6 days a week, 3 hours a day, for most people.

Always the same shift, either 330-630 or 615-close.

If it was slow, they would send people home, some shifts I only worked 45 minutes..

Sometimes they wouldn't let you request days off, even two months prior.

Some people were fired for almost no reason.

//////////

I worked at Little Caesars in Florida, I was a GM and only made 500wk and worked a mandatory no less than 55hrs a week.

To break it down thats 9.09 an hour plus had a hour travel time to and from.

The AMs made the same salary as me,not to mention i worked like a dog.

I was made to feel guilty for having kids or (ties) as my bosses would put it..........

Affordable Care Act:
1.The Act was designed to reduce overall health care costs by making services available to the 32 million who currently can't get insurance. They often use a hospital emergency room as their primary care physician, increasing costs for everyone. This starts in 2014.
2.For people who can't afford health insurance, the Federal government will pay the states to add them to Medicaid. The income requirement is expanded up to 133% of the Federal poverty level - roughly $29,000 for a family of four.
3.Those who don't qualify for the expanded Medicaid will receive tax credits if their income is below 400% of the poverty level ($88,000 for a family of four). States will be required to set up insurance exchanges to make it easier to shop for private health insurance coverage.
4.Insurance companies cannot deny children coverage for pre-existing conditions. This benefit applies to everyone in 2014. Insurance companies can no longer drop anyone from coverage once they get sick. If a company denies someone coverage, that person can go to an external appeals process.
5.Parents can put their children up to age 26 on their health insurance plans. This will bring more profit for health insurance companies, since they will receive more premiums without higher costs for these healthier individuals. As of 2012, more than three million previously uninsured young people were added.(Source: Department of Health and Human Services)
6.The Medicare "donut hole" gap in coverage will be eliminated by 2020.
7.People with existing health insurance will keep it. Businesses prefer to offer a tax-free benefit like health insurance to attract good workers. That won't change under Obamacare.
8.Obamacare does not apply to businesses with less than 50 employees. Larger businesses are required to offer health insurance, but receive tax credits to help employees pay premiums. In 2014, the tax credit increases to 50%.
9.The Act will lower the budget deficit by $143 billion over the next 10 years by raising some taxes and shifting more cost burdens.(Source: CBO CBO Report on Health Care Reform and the Budget; Wall Street Journal, What Health Insurance Ruling Means, June 28, 2012; NPR, Medicaid Expansion, June 27, 2012)

Ever since LBJ declared a war on poverty the parasites in the U.S. have been consuming the host. Well, parasites, the host is finally fighting back. You made your mistake when you chose the side of the socialist instead of the capitalist. Your mistake was the failure to recognize the fact that socialism only works until you run out of other peoples money.
