Tell that to the hiker who was set on fire and the elderly woman who was brutally robbed and beat in Gettysburg. You GD sick person. I hate Gettysburg because of people like you.
I think Frank and Ernest should weigh in on this. You don't sound like you know what you are talking about.

LOL, weren't those the same standards set by those living in Gettysbrg? HOw easily we forget the whine fest via Topix on the subject. Humm, I remember the rantings of, "we need jobs", we need businesses in Gettysburg", how high are Gettysburg's standards?

Not at all.

<quoted text>HAHHAAAAHHAAAA!!! OK, lets take a look at Atlantic City's casinos. Yes,. all are very nice a bit tacky but nice, and very expensive. Walk one block off the boardwalk to the slums of Atlantic City. So where is all this wealth these casinos are dumping into Atlantic City?
Lets take the Sands in Bethlehem, nice enough place been there several times. Granted Bethlehem is nicer ( in SOME areas not all) than Atlantic City, however many areas including around the casino remain run down. So where is this big tax break of mine? Last year it was around a hundred dollars ( on over a four thousand dollar bill) but the school district made sure they did their part by putting my tax bill up to the amount of my big "tax break".
I agree many millions of tax dollars are thrown away in casinos a year. However, just look at the money alone that's put back into the casino and how much is given to the surounding area.
Surrounding areas are slums and generally stay slums because a casino isn't in business to be the good guy. They're in business to part the sucker from his money and keep it for themselves. They're a business not charty.

Does it make you feel like a somebody by referring to someone else as a nobody?

Do you feel like a nobody in a town where reenactors are made to feel like some somebody?

Does listening to your neighbors complaining they have no jobs, make you feel like someone because you have one, even if it isn't a casino job?

Does still living in your parent's basement while married and raising your children make you feel like a somebody or a nobody?

Do you hate us as much as you hate yourself and the dumb thing you did? Your feelings of self loathing ooze through the screen when you post.

Question #1 No, I'm as much of a nobody as you are.

Question #2 Tourism is not my bread and butter. The vast majority of visitors I have come in contact with are wonderful people, whether they are reenactors, bikers, casual or heritage tourists.

Question#3 I feel fortunate to have a job. No one's job is secure these days.

Question #4 I haven't live with my parents since I was 18 years old. But, since you asked, my property taxes that I pay are significantly higher than yours, as is my property tax relief from casino revenues.

significantly higher, that I doubt, but thank you for playing. You see my property taxes aren't contained in one bill. No, my fine little wanna be without a casino, you see in owning several parcels of property I am "awarded" several property tax bills. But thanks for playing anyway, the vinyl siding on your house is showing, >snicker<
NOw run along and try to find yoursaelf a nice little hobby and stay out of trouble. You don't want to get mixed up with some of the other undesirables that we've all had the displeasure of meeting.

You see, since I know you, that claim would be easy enough to check out. Those types of things are public record, you know. Next thing you'll be trying to tell me is that you and your buddy have the same "property manager". >snicker<

Why by all means please it check out. HOwever, if you're one of my friends/associates/acquaintanc es then you'd already know that information. Yes, I agree these things are of public record, and I've used that to gain information too. However, you'll need a bit more information then what I've provided. Unless, of course you're still under the misconception that I'm someone, whom I'm not. Then, your time will be wasted looking up that information. But, by all means please continue to investigate, it'll keep you occupied for a day or two.

If you have then you know that it really doesn't take that long. But why waste time trying to prove something about a nobody?

As I stated before, you know nothing.
As I stated before it doesn't take long to find out the information, but when you have no where to start its impossible.
You're assumption on who this is, is completely off the mark.

Believe what you want, I really don't care one way or the other. You should really try to keep up. If you review my posts you will find that I never revealed your identity. Why should I? At this point you're a nobody. When, and if, the time comes where revealing your identity may mean something I'll sing like a canary.

Because you looks really really stupid with your claims of how safe it is in and around Gettysburg.

How about the home invasion where the man was stabbed and killed?

No, there's knife-wielding assailants running around your hometown though.

Daily Horoscope for May 24

Scorpio

Someone needs some advice today and you're just the person to give it. Wait to be asked, though! You'll be able to draw on your experiences of life, and you might also throw in some spiritual guidance for good measure. If you have some spare time you'll enjoy immersing yourself in a thought-provoking book and then discussing it with someone who's on your wavelength.
