Did any one bother to look at the ages of some of these individuals? Eighteen, nineteen, twenty...I know they are adults, but come on.

As someone who has seen the prices paid by a drug addict first hand, it seems to me that 15 years per count is like throwing away the rest of their lives, when I would venture to guess that addiction to the substance was the driving force behind their involvement to begin with. Isn't heroin the cheap drug? If so then they sure weren't in it for the money!

Get them help and try to rehabilitate them if this is their first offense and then if they end up right back here - then throw the book at them.

I am not underplaying the seriousness of the drug problem in the area, but we cannot just keep filling up the jails with people who may very well have a fighting chance to turn their lives around.
great job

Sure these kids are young adults, but they are adults nontheless and in this day and age, there is no way that they were not aware that what they were doing was illegal and that there were harsh consequences. I have a family member who is an addict, he's been in trouble, he's been "rehabilitated" and he still has a problem. And he is the same age as these people are. I've seen what drugs do first hand, I've felt the sadness and despair of watching someone I love dearly be consumed by drugs... and if dealers got harsher punishment and were taken off the street perhaps fewer people would have to go through what my family has done through.
Sorry but if you're dumb enough to do the crime then suck it up and do the time.

I have to agree with great job. They made the choice to do what they did. There chance was not doing it in the first place. Give them one chance and then someone will come along and say but, but, they deserve a shot because the first time they didn't understand how bad it could be because they got off so easy. So tough luck - choose to do this crap, pay the price now! They'll only be 35 when they get out - plenty of time to live life with their second chance.

For a parent to excuse drug dealing and give them another chance has got to be either pure stupid or maybe a dealer themselves.. Give them a chance to see what the real world {jail] is like.. Maybe they can become someones girl in jail and get a real wake up call

Good to see Littlestown police finally did something of importance for the community, other than handing out curfew fines to good kids in the community or chasing fleeing vehicles even after they have their tag numbers, ultimately ending in a fatlity. I am not totally bashing the Littlestown Police Department just saying that maybe they should re-evaluate their procedures on how they do things or better yet re-evaluate the officers they have employed.

I say congrats to all involved in this!! Keep up the great work and nab as many as you can. All involved departments deserve a pat on the back. As for "tired of ignorant people," did you ever think that those officer's are instructed to do that? Do you really think they wouldn't rather be out handling "real crime" than screwing around with the tired old crap they are told to handle?? Get a life, I'd sure like to see you strap a vest on everyday and kiss your family good bye, to go out and protect a**holes like yourself. You are an uninformed idiot.

One of those creeps lived just down the street from me, apparently. Imagine my shock when I saw an address just 14 numbers off of my own!! Frightens me to know that, with all the kids living in the area. Good thing he's now behind bars and as far as I'm concerned the bozo should stay there for a long time!

I couldn't agree more. Rehabilitation is what they need, not wasting their lives in jail because of an addiction.

Daily Horoscope for December 18

Aries

You'll be in a better position to get on well with someone who has power or authority over you. This might be your boss, some other authority figure, a friend you really respect or an older relative. Maybe you should chat up your superiors at the office Christmas party... or make more of an effort to understand what makes a certain person tick.
