Would you call the house of two people who just passed away. It is horrible that you would try to do this to speak to any kids or relatives in the house.

Show, some class "EVENING SUN", especially JOE DEINLIEN........"A phone call to a number in Manheim Township for a Kim and James Fissel was not returned Sunday night."
I wanted to write about the same subject and see that someone beat me to it !
Who did you think you would get on the phone?
What info could you possibly need from the family, especially in this time of grieving?
I can't express in words how pathetic the sentence in the article is, and it make me wonder WHO THE H**L DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TO BOTHER THE FAMILY AT THIS TIME, and ask them what stupid question.

Evening Sun, it's no wonder most people I know can't stand the paper you put out.

I just read the story myself and see where The Evening Sun removed the link to comments about this story. I found this in the "Forum" section.

Anyway, I was thinking the same thing as the others here when I read the story. I was appalled at The Evening Sun's audacity by calling the home this weekend. How cold can a person be to call the home of a couple who had just been killed in accident -- whether they had children or not?

Some people have no integrity or conscience and The Evening Sun and their reporter for this story proved that they have neither. Shameful!!

Dudes, all you guys with your holier-than-thou attitudes. I don't get it. So what if they called the house for more information. You wanted information too, that's why you clicked on the story. Get over it. Gosh.

Sorry for the Family... sad!!
I go that way to work everyday on my motorcycle
and know that the deer cross there to go to the pond to drink and eat grass. It's a good chance that is what happened. My prayers are with the family.

Please keep the Fissels children in your thoughts and prayers. My son is a friend of the Fissels son and he is a great kid who will need alot of support to overcome losing his mom and step dad.

In response to the comment made by "Cooter," Are you too stupid to realize the difference in CALLING the family after a severe tragedy to get information for a PATHETIC home town "so called newspaper" who half the time forgets to use their spell check button or by any means get their story straight!? vs. making a comment on a forum? I'd love to call you an Ass in person. You think these people are "holier than thou" when you are the one getting on here and calling them that. Stay out of business you have no means being a part of, who the hell do you think you are????

I am so GLAD I CANCELLED the Evening Sun. No wonder it's ready to go out of business. What a horrific thing to do; call the home of 2 deceased, hoping, WHAT, to speak to their children??? Do you have NOTHING BETTER TO DO? Please have some compassion and think of the family and their children and let them grieve in private.

So sorry to hear of another fatal cycle accident. Please keep their family in our prayers. The Evening Sun has come up with some really ignorant statements in their articles lately. Mr. Editor, where have you been????? It's no wonder people turn to other news sources. What were you looking for when you called the telephone number?? A conversation with a grieving family member?? Shame on you!!

I was crushed to hear of this tragedy. I have known Jim for a long time and I will tell you that you won't find a better person. I am so sorry for the family, what a heart breaker to loose two loved ones at once.

I don't know Jim's children, but Kims 2 boys are the most wonderful and kind souls. My heart is broken for them, they were a very close and loving family. When you feel compelled to post something unkind or insensitive, please just keep in mind that this was someone's family - and they were loved and will be missed every single day.

The thought of losing one parent, but two parents, how sad for this family. We can't begin to fathom what this family is going through. My prayers go with all of the survivors.

Maybe the paper wanted people like you all to tell others what wonderful people they were.

So, Cooter, aparently you have never lost a loved one in a tragedy OR you have a very cold heart. Do you know the meaning of the word respect? I suspect you do not understand it. I sincerely hope nothing like this ever happens to your family. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. People clicked on the story because it is truely tragic when a husband and wife are taken from one family. Yes, there are always more questions when something like this happens, but this would not be the time to contact the immediate family. This is not even a judgment call. You just don't do it! Think before you speak, you never know when it will come back and bite you in the ass. There is a lesson here...

Idiots? What village are you from Jackson?

Even though people don't buy the paper any more, they still drawn to subjects that touch their hearts and souls. Don't ever think you are free of tragic events. Just when life is going good, it will sneak up and knock you off your feet, but I hope you never have to know what I'm talking about. Get a heart, receive a soul.

I think it is sad that the family can't accept the fact that Jim was 2xs over the legal limit. he was very wrong and irresponsible to drink and drive. he took 2 lives that were not ready to leave us. Some think I am talking **** about him, I am not, I just hope we can all learn from his mistake. I pray for his kids and their mom Cathy, she has alot to deal with in the future. People, please do not drink and drive!!

Daily Horoscope for December 12

Aries

You're in a very talkative frame of mind and will enjoy regaling everyone with your opinions on all sorts of subjects. But make sure you're being interesting, and do your best to avoid being boring or not knowing when to shut up. If you're taking off on a journey or trip today, make absolutely certain that you've got everything you need before you set out. Otherwise you might discover that you've left something vital at home, which will be very annoying.
