WHO THE FREAK gives a rats azz as to WHAT the defendant says "he was gonna do or not"? Two years later, AND he's just now BEING tried for taking a life..am sure, the officer didn't want to die..for just doing his job..Throw the FREAKIN' book at him..and have a nice day.

He got what he deserved, now the State should carry out his sentence within 30 days. Not wait 20-25 years to carry out the sentence.
