How can ANYONE judge whether or not that someone is a POS when we all have made our own mistakes. No one is perfect in this world!!!!! Please do not judge Owen or his family on the basis of what you have read in a newspaper article! I have known Owen all his life and he has made some bad decisions but who in this world hasn't? If you haven't made any bad decisions please stand up and say so out loud so that everyone knows how perfect you are! Also another thing to think about is how can you have such a strong reaction that Owen is a POS and not post who exactly you are! As you can see I have included my name because I have no problem letting people know who I am when I feel strongly about something or someone. Owen is a human being just like the rest of us and he deserves as much compassion as anyone else in this world. Here is a thought for everyone: What would JESUS do? Owen, Dot, LJ, and Bink---I love you all unconditionally and you all know I'm here if you need me!

There are different levels of mistakes. I have made mistakes, but I have never stolen from someone or broke the law in such a manner that I could be incarerated (drove over speed limit) etc. When you take things from people who have worked hard for them, you now have become a POS. Whether or not you put your name out there..he is still a POS. Until he pays for what what he had done..he is still a POS. Please put the WWJD away. Why isn't he thinking about WWJD when he is busting into someone's house?

I guess that Nice does not know what forgiveness is! About the WWJD part of what I have said is that Jesus would be forgiving no matter what someone has done. I do understand that there are different levels of mistakes but if it were your child or family member would you call them a POS? Would you want someone to judge him? I am glad to hear that you are perfect and have never made the kind of mistake that could get you incarcerated. Also I am happy that you were able to show the world exactly who you are when you are calling an 18 year old boy a POS! This is all I can say to GROW UP and GET A LIFE and QUIT CALLING A BOY YOU TRULY DON'T KNOW A POS!

my son made a mistake, I'm not going to sugarcoat it. What I will do is stand by his side because he is my son. Anyone can fault me for that. Call my son any name you want, but he is my son. Please find someone else to comment on, this is painful enough.

I love you Christians..I am all forgiving and how dare you call someone a name. Yet would Jesus tell me to go get a life. It is all WWJD until someone disagrees with you. Never said I was perfect - said I never did anything that would get me incarcerated, big difference. If someone had taught this young man what Jesus would have done, he wouldn't be breaking into homes. Let him break into my home and he can then meet Jesus personally. He is a 18year old POS whether you love him or his momma loves him.

Well "Just Saying More", I am a Christian and proud to be one but I not just all WWJD until someone disagrees with me! I just feel that judging someone without truly knowing him is wrong! Would you want someone to judge you as a POS without truly knowing who you are? Also as for teaching someone what Jesus would have done you can do that and its never a guarantee they will do the right thing anyway, so don't go there! Take a look at the world around you and see that there others who have dedicated their lives to Jesus and still have committed crimes that warrant incarceration. I am not going to argue and fight with you about this issue because you seem to not have any sense in your head since you have to use threats to get ur point across. YOU HAVE A PERFECT LIFE and I hope if you have children, grandchildren, or even great grand children that they never commit a crime that warrants people labeling them as a POS and then you have to go through what this mother is going through because of people like you!!!!!!!!!!

Wrong..put the blame where it belongs. The mother is not going through hell because of people like me. The mother is going through hell because her son committed a crime. Until the blame is placed where it belongs you can count on her going through more hell. I did not threaten anyone. I made it clear that if someone breaks into my house I am not welcoming them with open arms.

Apparently the apple does fall far from the tree. I will have everyone know that since this incident: Owen has acquired his GED, Was saved by Jesus and is pursuing a life following Christ's word, Is enrolled in college and is pursuing whatever it takes to become a pastor. You shouldn't have judged him. He came around, he is doing something to make positive changes.......when is the last time you tried to make a difference in someone's life? He is human, he will make mistakes.......but he has a good heart. Do you?

His mother has worked her butt off for years trying to make him do the right things and he just keeps letting her down. His mother has supported him, cried for him and even administered tough love but to no avail. Some people you just can't fix! Way to go you POS!
