I am not giving one red cent to the fundraising until the borough gives its fair share from the pooled resources of taxpayer money. As the saying goes, I already gave at the office. Until the borough makes a commitment to the project why should anyone else.

It is disgusting this council thinks so little of the fire fighters who consistently respond to any person, place or thing in need of their services. They don't ask if it is a bad economy or not, they just show up.

I am sure taxpayers that are barely scraping by to keep a roof over their heads and food on their plates wouldn't mind a tax increase to pay for this nonessential museum. Should the government also fund the building of museums for the united way, red cross, and all other charities that are manned by volunteers.

Are they municipal entities? And who says it would require a tax increase?

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Pisces

You're lacking in energy and resources today, which will soon slow you down and make you feel as though you're wading through treacle. The only way to cope is to have as many breaks as possible, and not to set yourself impossible goals that you could never hope to meet. You're also very susceptible to the criticisms or put-downs of others, but do your best to ignore them.
