Gettysburg man going to trial for robberies

A Gettysburg man accused of robbing two stores will go on trial next month. Melvin L. Williams, 35, of 29 W. Middle St., appeared in Adams County court Monday and was scheduled for an October trial.

I can't tell you how correct you are about the long-lasting effects of serious violent crime like what happens in Gettysburg. I've been trying to sell my property in the borough, to no avail, I'd have to give it away for fifty cents on the dollar, banks won't even accept it as collateral for anything more than a used car loan. I hate this cesspool town, Gettysburg.
