Mull: Ravens' hope ended with QB selection

Full story: Evening Sun

The Baltimore Ravens should just give up. This year is already down the tubes. Reports out of Baltimore are saying Joe Flacco is the new starting quarterback.

Is this a sports article of facts or just the reporters opinion of the potential performance of a player? While there are facts in the article, it is littered with opinion also. Whether I support the Ravens, Redskins, Orioles or whoever, I really don't care to have the reporters "opinion" included as a fact in a story.

Possible Steeler fan with the chance to convey his written word.. He writes for the Evening Sun not the Baltimore Sun.. Who cares... Flacco will be fine

Cory you’re a tool through and through. Flacco is starting because Boller is out, just announced for the year with a shoulder injury, and Smith is recovering from an infection. Forcing into the limelight.... What did you write this article after listening to some sports center and tried to spin what you heard as your own? Wait, that’s giving you too much credit since this article totally forgets to mention the aliments of the other two original competing QB's. It’s called research. This article is total crap. Do you get paid for this? If so someone is getting ripped off.

Wow...Only thing I get from this article is some first round QB's are busts, and some are successful. How many years of journalism school did you need to figure that out?

Oh wait, just figured it out. You're bitter about Cam Cameron's stint in Miami. It is ok, I'm sure you will be equally disappointed this year.

maybe this "sports new article" was an experimental article for the resume he is sending to MSNBC as a political reporter.

So your #1 QB in Kyle Boller gets put on Injured Reserved (this means he cannot play for the entire year) and your #2 QB is so sick that he losses over 20 pounds of muscle and weight to his frame that would cause him to be injury prone if rushed back.
That leads who again? Just wondering, I know Mark Clayton played QB once in his life, but who else is on the roster that fulfills that position?
You are an idiot, and your journalism is by far the worst on the net, congrats!

Now don't pick on the young boy. He is only the latest in a series of no experience, underpaid reporters that leave this so called paper at the first opportunity. While they are in Hanover for their on the job training we have the benefit of their insightful reporting!

I think what the reporter was trying to say that the Ravens Front Office is apparently in the fog to think that a rookie QB from a DIV-2A school could be the answer. There has to be a waiver QB that would be available. Oh BTW "DUH" what kind of job do you have? I think u are the "I"

Or even better the national enquirer. Write a bunch of half truths for shock factor.

You're right, he'll be gone in a year. Revolving door reporting at the Evening Blunder.
