Police investigate drive-by shooting

Capt. Steve Reese? What color and make of vehicle do YOU drive? How do you know the exact time that you, err, "the suspect" started shooting?
Good story but your knowledge of the time gave you away.

Since I do not have to supply my name to the people who arrest you, they can send the check for my reward for your arrest to, "Occupant". That'll get here! If you use my real address the post office sends it to Kansas! No matter the zip code!

A better headline would have been, "Police Facilitate Drive By Shooting".

They got away with more mayhem. they have no reason to stop.

A white four door vehicle? Was it a car, truck, SUV?? Come on is this for real? Doesn't this have to be narrowed down a little more? It does not appear that the cops want to find this drive by shooter.

I wonder if Stevie Wonder could of given a better description of the drive-by vehicle and suspects. It is a well known fact blind people can sense and detect things sighted people generally miss. The last time we got a description of the perp, it was like, wow, that describes a lot of people between here and Tierra Del Fuego in Argentina. Now we get a car description that fits any between here and Iraq. Somebody needs to get a grip and decide if they TRULY want any help from the public.

These "incidents" are becoming a weekly event. It's so sad that nobody in power cares enough to stop them from happening. For a community so small I find it beyond ridiculous that gang violence can't be curtailed. I guess we just chalk it up to "summer fun" for the youth.

You think maybe when the police arrived at the scene after the phone call from the residents, they might have told the police what time it happened? Duh?

Most likely the information the police received was from people in the neighborhood. So that's why it's so shakey. And even if the residents knew the exact make, model, license number, and driver of the vehicle, it's highly unlikely they would tell the police. Recriminations and revenge are an integral part of this town. And there's a good chance the cops are related to the criminals. Even if the thugs got arrested, they would be out on the streets almost immediately because of the lenient Liberal laws in this state. You people keep voting in bleeding heart Liberals, you get what you voted for.
