Full story: notaboutreligion.com

So, this kind of religion is legalizing cannabis to their worship. They have 12 reasons why it's vital. They are like rock stars, musicians, artist consuming this thing to make them high allowing them to increase their performance and even using the name of spiritual elevation and God. We cannot deny that the consumption of drugs is very expensive. The more the intake, the more spending. While they are under the influence of drugs they are living in fantasy. It's not the reality, after all.

In that case, their followers are also consuming drugs. Under the motto, "Follow the leader". I'm afraid, everybody attending the ceremony will get high!!!

What about Native American faiths of the south west. From earliest recorded time, peyote has been used by Native American Tribal Groups, native to or relocated to the Southern Plains States of Oklahoma and Texas. Should we tell them that they cant use there Drugs as part of rituals of thrir religion.

Of course we should tell them that the only sacraments are Nabisco Saltines and Welch's grape juice---duh! What's wrong with you!!??? BTW, you can't use REAL wine because the Baptists HATE alcohol, even though the Bible clearly says Jesus partook of it.

Peyote is from a small spineless cactus that you eat not smoke.

Biological Psychiatry (2005) outlines research by Dr. John Halpern into peyote.Showed that Psychological and Cognitive Effects of Peyote Use Among Native Americans found that Peyote users (who used if in there faith) scored significantly better than non-users on the general positive affect and psychological well-being. They were also much less likely to be alcohol abusers.

Many thanks for the link "Tickedoffchick"! But they do really need drugs for religious ceremony? Do they really need it to find God? As we all know, illicit drugs are dangerous there are disadvantages that could bring ruin and destructions to a man physically, mentally and emotionally.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Aquarius

Keep calm and all will be well. You're feeling slightly fraught because there are so many demands on your time, and it won't help if you're trying to juggle some last-minute chores with some fun-filled social events. Get others to lend you a hand, or tell yourself that perfection is not an option right now and that you'll have to scale down your preparations accordingly.
