The article didn't say what happened to the girls. Only that there was "obvious signs of trauma".

Before you go hollering for another lynching party.

Let's get some facts. Could it have possibly been a hit n run accident being it(the article) stated they were walking near the road?

C'mon, don't be so closed minded.

The way they write these news snippets for the hype and sensationalism with out any real facts
really gets the average simpleton riled.

Doesn't it Mr Casey?

Oklahoma police are investigating the double homicide of two young girls found dead Sunday night in a pasture along a rural road.
The girls, friends aged 13 and 11, were discovered by one of their fathers after they failed to return from an afternoon walk on the county road in Okfuskee County near Weleetka, Okla.
The deaths of the girls, whose names have not been released, were labeled "double homicide" by investigators, according to News9.com in Oklahoma City.
"This is a case that involves two innocent girls that were walking out on their own," Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation Inspector Stan Florence told the Oklahoman. "Some evidence has been found at the scene which may be useful to us. We have spent a lot of time going down this road looking for evidence."
Florence did not immediately return a call for comment from FOXNews.com .
The Oklahoman reported Monday that the Okfuskee County Sheriff's Department believed the girls were shot. The bodies showed signs of trauma, according to reports.
The girls were found in an isolated pasture area about one-quarter of a mile from one of the girls' homes.

and calling someone an average simpleton serves what purpose??
Trauma can mean several things, but the fact still remains that two young girls are dead. Someone through whatever means has tragically killed them.
Let the authorities do their jobs and then we will have plenty of time to pass judgment in the public forum.

RPD,

The article I am commenting on is directly linked here. It says nothing about what you have posted.

Should that have been in quotes or did you type all that yourself with the hyper links included?

Add some more hype to it if you want.

"Two girls killed near Weleetka

NEWS 9

WELEETKA, Okla.-- Two girls were found dead on the side of a road Sunday afternoon near Weleetka, police said.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents said the 11-year-old and 13-year-old girls went out for a walk yesterday at around 5 p.m. and never returned home.

A family member went out to look for the girls a little while later and found the two dead along Gravel Road, just south of Interstate 40 in Okfuskee County, investigators said.

OSBI agents said there were obvious signs of trauma to the bodies and they are treating the incident as a double-homicide.

Authorities said they have no suspects or motives yet."

No where in it does it mention they were shot at
and before it was updated there wasn't a mention of a homicide either.

Do you have source for what you are citing?
If so you should post it.

If not for me, for prosperity, and for you being factual and not wanting to look like a plagiarizer.

My first comments on this article stand firmly and just in their original context with the initial information that was dealt.

Children are truly one of life's gifts. Providing children nurturing loving environments and protection enabling them to grow into adults is a responsibility we as a society owe all children.
Let the person(s) responsible for this unthinkable act be found and
dispatched quickly. As a human community we must draw the line here.
Crimes against our children should not be tolerated and those crossing the line should be executed. No exception and no mercy.

It's very, very sad those two little girls lost their lives. I'm hoping it was some sort of bizarre accident and hope that they weren't intentionally
terminated.

Pray for their parents. You know they must be woefully grieving.

The Oklahoman identified the elder girl as Taylor Placker and said the girls were found clothed in T-shirts and shorts with multiple gunshot wounds. Taylor's father discovered the bodies.

Ernest H - regardless--even if it wasn't intentional, the person did not stop. And we are hearing different stories, but most of them read "multiple guhnshot wounds." Some psycho has probably even done this before--this time he will pay!

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Pisces

This is another good day to be tactful, and if anything you'll be even more successful than you were yesterday. This is not to be sneezed at, so seize the opportunity to talk to people who can sometimes be very touchy or who need to be handled with kid gloves. If you meet someone who's older or more influential than you, you'll be a big hit with them.
