I understand this story may be important to some people but I was offended seeing two men kissing on TV. I find it not appropriate.

Yes, I'm sure people said the same thing after they saw the first interacial kiss on TV. Grow up lady. It's not any less appropriate than two hetereos kissing at a marriage ceremony. It's not my thing, but I've met gay couples who were better parents, and people, than most straight couples I know.
