Somebody had the topic with the 40 plus comments removed, They must have reported some of it's contents as abusive and had it yanked. Apparently to much of it's contents was hitting home and ringing true and they didn't like it even though they asked for it in the first place.

Before you go accussing someone about writting things make sure you get your facts straight...I AM the 77 year old native that wrote things on topix.com ...My name is S.Perkins... Why dont you ask the selectman about a stolen laptop from the firestation?....Don't worry there will be more facts to come...
Be back

Correct me if im wrong....but He resigned cause he didnt have the time to put into being a planning board member..and also didnt have the support to help the tax payers on decision making on a mall that took them 9+ yeard to build that still hasnt even started to be built...and futher more they chairman of the planning board turned it over to the selectman on tv...Whats the sense of having a planning board?I'm glad voters wrote him in for his 2nd three year term which he served in complete!Im one of the 35 that voted for him...whos the dumb ass now?

Come on EH why dont you remind us why you were gonna be a good choice for selectman! No axes to grind no trouble,no nepotism etc.I wish you would start doing what you say cause I was one that voted for you and I am outraged at what I hear is going on with you and your buddies at the fire house!! Nothing but trouble since you took that seat. Not to even speak of your behavior at the meetings every time I turn 22 on makes my stomach turn to know I voted for you! What happened to working as a team representing Seabrook??

Thats all thats going on over there is nepotism.....they never gave anybody any interviews and they hired two new part time bpw workers that dont have a valid drivers license amd it states on the job post you must hold a valid license....so whats up wih that!!

Not surprised at all, I am sure they have the right name but further more why the hell is more help needed in this town we have double the employees that other towns the same size have!

My concern was never the number of Town employees, but the fact that we're spending as much money out of town to have outside firms like the LGC and contractors doing our work for us. Out of $33 million that BudCom goes over (between the Town and the school district), only about $10-11 million stays in Seabrook. This isn't a town that can afford to keep sending tax money out like that. Most of that work can be done cheaper/better in-house.

I believe that you're right that the job should go to the most qualified applicant, but I think that preference should go to those who've lived in town for a while over those who've never lived here.

When are the selectmen going to fill us in on what is happening with our Town Manager? Maybe some of us do not agree paying for two salaries at the sametime. Or is Ed Hess and Aboul gonna shove this under the table with Paula?
