What is wrong with you people??? How could you post something like that?? Knowing that his family is going through hell, yet you still post these god awful things about my brother. And as far as rebeccas sisters comment, that should have NEVER been put into the news. Its wrong and its degrading to both jay and rebecca. So what, they had a different life style than most people. WHY in the world would you put something like that in the news for all to see?? Dont you news people ever think about the families that are suffering????

if you watch the girl that says he asked her to tie him up for her sister, is it just me or can you tell she is lying?

What is upsetting is what they let the press know about his personal sex life.

The man is dead.

Give him some respect.

There was no need to let all of that be known.

Because you guys decided to let so much be known about the deceased that was unrelated to the case...I'm finding a new news station. I may only be one person, but I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling this way.
I was loyal, but this was disrespectful, to both the deceased and the family.

NO they don't think about people's families....WHY you ask....because they don't have to. They look for the story and tell it. Do you think they should keep quiet on a grusome murder that involved the same thing? NO I don't think so. I for one thought the story was interesting and didn't really think anything negative about either one involved. This type of sex act is socially acceptable now and people really don't give it much thought. You should all rethink your comments and see how you would feel if you were the ones watching this about other people. It's NEWS for crying out loud and that's what these people do, REPORT it. I'm sure they didn't mean any harm in this. I happen to think News Channel 5 is the best news channel Nashville has and they all do an awsome job. I am loyal and will not move to another station because they report the news. So what if he liked to wear womens panties....that doesn't make him any less of a man. So what if they liked to be tied up....many people do. I don't think anyone is thinking negative toward the sexual status or type of sex they liked, the negativity is coming from the murder itself.

I am puzzled that the comments seem to blame the news for something the couple chose to publicize themselves. The wife especially was more than willing to tell that she tied him up as part of their sexual act inorder to be absolved from all charges. Unfortunately for her, leaving for 20 hours does not constitute sexual involvement whatsoever. Tell me what man is going to encourage his wife to tie him, gag him, blind fold him & then leave to have sex with another man? His death was probably caused from profuse crying.

itI do not think the news people should be blamed for publicizing this!!! It is their job!!! A fine job of reporting it!!! Any time there is a death it will be reported!!!! If it turns out to be accidental, which I do not think so!!!! Whatever a man and woman does is their business!!! They should not go around telling all family members and ever body else!!!! sexual or otherwise!!! If it is something they want to do it, is to keep it to their shelf... But, when something goes wrong they want to blame somebody else!!!! I think, they want to get publicity!!!! I think, it was just a case of murder!!!!!! They should lock her up and throw the key away!!!!! As the saying goes, different folks, different strokes, so, don't blame the news people for reporting it!!!!

This is a terrible unfortunate event, and my heart goes out to the families involved. As someone who practices BDSM in my personal life, this case hits especially close to home. It's terrible that he died, terrible that this couple and their families have to go through this in the news....

But as someone who has spent the past seven years in the local BDSM community, trying to educate people about how to enjoy and explore their sexuality in as safe a way as possible, I am still stunned that anyone would bind a person (especially in a hogtie, which is a physically strenuous position for even a few minutes) and leave them unattended for such an extended length of time. Anyone who has taken time to learn about the risks and the right way to do these things would never, ever leave a bound person alone for even a few minutes.

If anything good comes out of this, it would be that anyone who reads about this and who is playing these types of bondage games at home will understand that this was NOT the right way to do it. There are hundreds of places on the web and in real life you can find out how to live out your sexual fantasies safely.

I don't believe Rebecca intended harm, and I believe the act was entirely consensual, but she was definitely guilty of stupidity and negligence.

That said, i hope that the case is tried the same as any case of negligent manslaughter, and that the sensational "sexual ritual" aspect does not cloud an already tragic occurrence.

Kate, I could not have said it any better Myself. Rest assured local communities nationwide are paying attention to this. Many may not realize that these practices can and do happen on a daily basis but it is up to U/us to educate others lest this tragedy happens again.

jays sister said what is wrong with us people for making remarks about our feelings and how it reflects on her family. but has anyone thought about the fact that my sister and our family has went throght a big crisis with this. a few of the family members have lost their jobs and selling EVERYTHING they have ever worked for because we know alot of stuff that his family dont want out in public. if the degrading of my sister and our family keeps on IT WILL GO PUBLIC NATIONWIDE. THATS A PROMISE.

I feel terrible for both families but apparently the family told the news about their sexual life. It's nobodys buisness about their sex life but I hope this keeps others from injury or death. Everyone needs to take this as a lesson and pray for all involved.

It's actually more common than you think. I see a lot of men wanting their partners to have a fling. Their excitement is later living vicariously through their partners' experience in the retelling. Being with someone "naughty" gives them a thrill.

My heart goes out to Becky and her family.A young wife who was trying to full-fill her husbands fantasy's which turned tragic. People need to see that she wasn't out to harm her husband but it happened and now she has to spend the rest of her life with that, NOT us NOT his family,BUT becky!!I am sure they all are hurting but its sad how jays sister lisa has to try and make becky look bad for something that was an ACCIDENT. Jays family got the opportunity to see him and says there good-byes but what about becky and her family? No they didn't get that chance because of a mistake that both becky and jay has made. It was something they chose to do toghether as husband and wife for his fantasys but people seem to think its something for her to get punished for. isn't she being punished enough threw the loss of her husband and having to live with this for the rest of her life???? Becky and family again my HEART goes out to you all!! stay strong and your in my prayers

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Sagittarius

You're in a strange mood, Sagittarius. You're feeling impatient and cross, and nothing is quite right. No wonder, with Mercury and Mars retrograde, under a Full Moon lunar eclipse! But is it necessary to be quite so contrary, so determined to do the opposite of what's expected of you? Try to sort out the problem sooner rather than later, then do something energetic and therapeutic so you can burn off your nervous energy. Then you're all set for a great New Year's Eve!
