I've never heard such bitching and bellie aching in my life!! These people better Welcome this project, because before long they may not have any electricity at all!! And they will all be compensated for the use of their property. Just how beautiful is Mountain Cedar, Yucca Plants, Prickle Pears, and Rattle snakes, when you all require more and more electricity all the time????? Get Real! You people moved into nature where you were 'not' wanted/needed, move back to town!!! You people are probably some of the same ones bitching/bellie-aching about the proposed Tenaska Coal Generation Plant, that will eventually be built there too!!! Then all of you will be out of water also!!!

Ron - You obviously have not visited our part of Texas and how would you like a 125-180 foot tower in your front yard? Yes, we do need the transmission lines and they will benefit our econonmy. However, the companies who intend to construct the towers and lines have no idea what is located in this area and they intend to place the towers directly in front of residences. We have attended 2 public open houses and they are very vague about compensation for these towers and many of us have properties that have been in families for generations!! THEY ARE NOT FOR SALE!!! Would you want to leave your children and grandchildren a section of land with 4-5 transmission lines crossing it? Do you actually think that the value will improve? You might want to talk to the owners of these properties and maybe visit the area before you go spouting about something that you know nothing about! By the way we are the ones who are conservationists, feed the wildlife, and we do practice green living! As for moving to the city - no thanks - we have fresh air, wide open spaces (where we don't have to listen to the likes of you) and clear blue skies most of the time, beautiful sunsets and friendly people!!

I personally would be more than glad to have a Wind Turbine-Generator in my back yard(better than a coal generation Plant you are going to get soon!! And do not assume anything!! Because you know nothing about me or my life. So collect the money and continue to do what-ever it is you do. But I've heard more bitching about this than just about anything. Get your head out of the sand, We all can see you!!!!! When you have 'no' electricity or water then find someone else to complain to!!! I'm allowed my comments same as you. Thank you. And the Transmission Towers and lines will be built, just wait and see. And I'm one of the few'smart' people that moved from there!!! And you do not own a section of land.

Daily Horoscope for January 3

Aries

There is a strong focus on career and parental matters today. You need to be cautious regarding your dealings with someone in authority - things may not be what they seem. This is also a good day to spend time with your partner. Communication in general should prove to be smoother sailing than usual so this would be an opportune time to discuss delicate matters with others. Good news in the evening is indicated.
