The article doesn't say they had dark colored skin, it says they had dark colored clothes. I'm pretty certain the TV news said they had light colored skin last night.

The descriptions shown in the paper are worthless without knowing their race! Don't tell me nobody ever asked what race they were and nobody noticed? The first thing the police dispatchers says when a call goes out is something like this, "Attention all units, 211 armed, two suspects fleeing westbound from 123 A street, Subject number one is a black male adult, 6-2, 240, wearing... second suspect is a white male adult 5-7, 165, wearing.... weapon used two handguns." I bet the paper didn't want to say one or possibly both of the guys are black males.

knowing their race! Don't tell me nobody ever asked what race Its one thing to give a description, and thats understandable but i dont think the chico pd is going to come on this message box to look for a description on here. and seeing how a few peeps on here interpreted what was read in this headline as one of the suspects described as wearing dark colored ski mask,pants,sweatshirt and gloves easily turns it around as the suspects being darked skinned. thats enough to raise an eyebrow in my book. i just notice too many times on here how these posters on here raise the race issue when someone black or hispanic commits a crime. when somebody white commits a crime you dont see the issue being raised. im beginning to think any place above sacramento when it comes to norcal has alot of bigoterie going on.
