Our cousin had surgery in Hamilton. The doctor said she did just fine but she kept getting sicker and they sent her to Tupelo where we was afraid she would die. The nurses at Hamilton says this happens often and they would not take there families to that hospital. Has anyone else had these kind of problems?

My seventy something year old mother taken by ambulance to emergency room. Some immigrant African doctor tells her "twisted knee" and sends her home....lays in bed four more days then visits Winfield doctor, she has a broken hip! Pathetic. A seventy year old female visits ER and you don't xray her hip but her knee and ankle??? Quacks and the bottom of the class in med school, manage to find a practice here.....no one else will accept them as doctors! Stay away from this hospital.

It's pretty common knowledge around here that Hamilton Hospital is absolutely terrible. My family knows that in the case of an emergency, I am to be taken the extra hour to Tupelo or Florence...Even with the extra hour spent trying to get help, I'd have a better chance than if I were taken to Hamilton. I've been to that hospital once...I'll never go back.
