I saw the car blocking rt 179 then take off and drive off road through a metal fence and through the woods. I couldn't figure out why the car was going crazy and now we know! I was so chose that i'm glad i didn't get hit from this JERK . Where did this stunt get him after all this happened ? In Jail which is a good place for him.

why did he steal four cars?

He carjacked a woman from the Tops while she was loading her groceries.

He went into to someone's house and then stole their car...

The best part, while the police cars were zipping (or trying to) down McKinley, many cars did not yield to them and move right. NOPE, and one car who was 'surprised' by the three speeding, lights going and sirens blaring police cars was forced onto the tall grassy median to allow the cars to pass.

Believe me, I no that "Kirbis" family 98% of them are nothing but trouble makers and con-artists. They have caused the Town of Tonawanda Police nothing but, trouble, they waste the tax payers money with court issues and pulling off another fast one. They are lawsuit happy and would beat down their own Mother if she had a buck on her. One instance a husband & his wife, yep, the Kirbis family were at a Tonawanda function and low and behold, a fight ensued, husband, wife & son all were arrested; for assult, what a wonderful family? But, there is one daughter that is nice and worth getting to know. The rest are LOSERS.

There were actually six police cars involved as I was on my way home from work and had to keep pulling over for them. I wish these cops would use sirens a bit more, it was a very dangerous situation and innocent people could have been hurt. Glad they got the creep.

hey granny, pay attention, getting the plate info would only give them the info on the current car he stole, one of four. this guy was high on crack, threatened peoples lives, and could have done a hell of a lot worse. kudos to the cops for getting this bum in jail. and by the way, i see cops using the their lights and sirens and many times people just aren't paying attention.

Couldn't agree more with you. I went to school with this scumbag. You know, super hero jocko. I remember he beat his girlfriend in school the one time...but it was cute per the teaching staff.

Did you see the white station wagon forced into the median? Yes, it was a dangerous situation. Half the drivers in front of me never pulled over to the right lane until the police cars were right on top of them. Then at the light in front of the Weslyen (sp) Church, cars were going about their merry ways trying to turn left and right and whatever, right where the police cars needed to turn. Also, the car in front of me (in the right lane) came to a complete stop without pulling over, causing all of us behind to stop as well. My little guy wanted me to follow the police cars... he's such a boy. Glad you and I made it home safely...

The police should talk to him in a nice tone and ask what is bothering him. It is important to always be nice and positive when dealing with any type of scum bag. Not sure where and how this ended up but I was in the village during the whole thing and the police were doing what they could do. Nice job....Thanks for doing your job and dealing with the scum of the earth. I sleep better at night knowing you are close by and I am sorry you don't always get the praise you should! Yes it is the job you chose but with it can come situations and variables nobody thought was imaginable! Take a minute to thank a cop for going to work everyday and getting complained too every other minute. Coppers..........know there are people out there who care what you do!

I knew the family as well when those kids were younger and YES, they definitely were punks and causing trouble. This same guy was arrested for drugs in a big drug bust a few years ago in Buffalo and Black Rock. Pieces of garbage - that's for sure!!!
