I missed what town in Missouri this young man was from. I spent a lot of time with family in Marceline. The article is no longer available. Can anyone tell me the name of the town?
Thanks, Zen

The opinion may not indicate a lot of compassion on the part of the commentator, or even a lot of intelligence. When I hear things like "People like you should be punished for the things you write" I thank God that people like you don't sit on the Supreme Court. If the driver of the pickup was breaking the law at the time of the accident (and it seems likely given the circumstances), then I agree that it is fitting that he also lose his life, as he is directly responsible for killing two people. You are an idiot.....doesn't even have a lawyer. There is not a single person on this forum that knows what they are talking about. You are right....they are all opinions. Why not wait to make them when all the reports come back. I think that it's interesting that the State Patrol doesn't know what happened when the second man in the truck only suffered a broken leg. I'd think he would make a decent witness, unless his lawyer isn't letting him talk. Hmmmmm. He did not have a broken leg. Wow....you are really smart.

I thought the other occupant of the truck (passenger) suffered a broken leg?? I hope that in day to come, after this has all settled down, the passenger will be able to shed more light into what really happened, even if the driver was at fault, he did untimately pay with his life. Somebody had to have seen something that day...drove past that area 2 days ago and the marks from the truck are still all over the road...on both sides of the freeway....what puzzles me is why there isn't a barrier there?? they have begun puting barriers all over the metro...they missed the huge concrete one by only a few hundred feet...might have saved all who died if there had been one.:((

I am Rhonda.... I have no where wrote anything hostile about your family, it breaks my heart for anyone to have such a loss. I'm a mother and almost lost a child years ago. If you will go back and read, that isn't one thing I said negative towards you or your family. The reason I signed my name mad as hell in missouri to the very long post I made was.. because I am mad as hell any human could say such negative things about a young man that lost his life in such a tragic way!!!! I'm mad as hell that people that have no idea about what happened could ASS U ME he did something wrong. Even IF the accident might of been his fault, it give NO person the right to call him names or say evil things about him. I know at this time you and your mom are hurting, maybe just maybe thats why you might of thought I was being rude, for that I'm sorry!!

You my friend are a very selfish person you dont care what happens to the driver well wait someday you too will make a mistake and maybe people will stop caring about you then! Be compassionate noone goes out to kill a man and his young son thats why they call it an accident!
