How is it possible that a person who is a convicted felon for drugs could get a job doing home health care caring for someone? Wouldn't you think that being in and out of jail and prison and getting kicked out of drug court would be enough of a background for people to not want this type of person to take care of anyone? Do they not do background checks for this kids of job?

I would be worried that the Convicted Felon would not only have access to drugs but may steal from the people they are supposed to be caring for. I thought there were laws agains that. |

Yeah you would think that there would be laws against that. But I know of a person whe is doing it. She has been in the system for over 10 years... 120 day shock treatment, county jail time, kicked out of drug court for using someone else's urine, prison

time, you name it. Her original charges were for narcotics and stealing. Since those she has also has possession and about 15 bad check charges. Definitely not someone that I would want taking care of disabled people.
