We live in Independence. We are a decent family. Independence has done a lot of nice things with the city the last 5 years but it has to be the white trash capital of the world.

Don't believe all you hear. I have known this family for almost 28 years and don't believe any of this. They are a wonderful family and this is totally bogus. This is probably an ex-wife's personal vendetta.

we've known the family for a long time there is no way they did this. my kids grandmother is good friends with the family ,this has to be an ex-wife's doing.

Dang--That is so scary and so close to home. Shows that no where is totaly safe. I live only blocks away with my husband and daughter. Wow, if this is true.....Then they need to be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Too scary to think about, how can we really protect our loved ones and feel that we are in a rual area?

I agree with you. I live only blocks away and this is a very scary thing for my 11 year old. She told me that her bus goes by there every day.

Believe it! I know the victims and their stories. This is no vendetta. The evil these men have done is unfathomable. Rob Zhombie couldn't create a horror movie with villans of these men's calibre. Anyone who says this is lies is either in on it or completely clueless. I couldn't blame them for the latter. They did get away with it for a very long time.

I have known this family for a very long time and I believe that those men ARE capable of such acts. I feel for their families and the suffering they are about to go through because of the sick and disgusting choices these men have made.

When this kind of stuff happens I really wonder how people can do this and enjoy it? I just don't understand how people like this think. How can they do this to a child? Adults are supposed to protect childeren! Not abuse them!

None of us know any facts yet. If they are guilty, then punish them to the full extent of the law. I understand the frustration over such a horrible act. I'm frustrated because I know that this happens. With that said, I'm equally frustrated by the lack of desire to know facts before condemning people. Whatever happened to "Innocent until proven guilty". Yes, your right to be angry. Consider holding off judging until we get some facts.

I get the whole hold judgement thing, but who would wait from the late 80 and into the 90's to come forward with a made up story? Really? & some of us may have facts.

I think the media has done anything close to condemning these men.
They have been talking to neighbors who know nothing about the sweet old widowed man with a handicapped daughter. What a load! Fact: Married, Fact: Never had a daughter.

I have known this family for 25 years. I honestly find it hard to believe a couple of them are involved, but there are two of the brothers, one in particular that I have always felt uneasy around. I feel very saddened for the families of the accused. People tend to forget that the family of the accused are often as grief stricken as those of the victims. As for the people already judging them, most of you know nothing more than what you've been told on television. They have not been convicted yet, or even given a trial, no evidence has been shown to the public, so unless you know the family and their situation personally, do not assume they are guilty. Pray for their families, because whether they are aquitted, found innocent, or found guilty, these men will forever be treated as guilty.

seems to me that it would take more than an "ex-wife's vendetta" for a multi-jurisditional major case squad to bust 5 people on a whim.

i think law enforcement knows far more than what's been reported. and many people will be shocked & disgusted.

We live in a world where some think that Gays adopting children and abortion is worse than children getting raped and murdered. Being exploited, beat, drowned, stabbed or just left to die under a bed. Makes perfect sense to me.
We live in a world where some don't like being discriminated against, but don't bat an eye when it comes to discriminating against someone else....they justify it through some warped vision of Jesus which somehow makes it alright. Interesting.

I've known this family most all of my life. I do know there were allegations of this happening back in the 80's but nothing ever came of it.
Because of the allegations I know of it really doesn't surprise me that this is now happening, but my heart breaks for all of those involved, including the children, and spouses of these men.
There are many lives being shattered by the supposed acts of these men. Everyone needs prayers no matter what the outcome.

I also have known this family for most of my life. As a very young teen, I cleaned their house a few times. The mom was always present and was a very good woman with a strong faith in God. I never saw or heard anything negative about the family. I am surprised by the allegations, but know that anything is possible. My heart goes out to everyone involved. They all need our prayers.

these pigs are sick. i say put them in the general public in prison and let the prisoners have them. there is way to much crime on our kids. child molisters should never be set free in a public setting. how sick is sick to do these thbings to a child.

Isn't it funny in so many cases that had reports on over years it takes so long for the investigation to reach a point to where it comes to searching for bodie's. I would not put any thing past man. I would be happy if my children never had to even hear of such things in the news, let alone the events happening in our own areas in witch we live. Just because people can put on a mr. good to their friends, doesn't meen we can trust everyone, learn and know who our children we are all in this world together, lets not take days to know of the dangers they may be in let alone decades.

What does your obvious bitter feelings regarding feeling like YOU are being discriminated against have to do with THIS case? Reach much?
