Attempted Abduction in Centerport

Take this as a warning. A high school student waiting for a bus at the corner of McKinley Terrace and Coolidge was the victim of an attempted abduction at 7 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, October 18th. Sounds very much like the MO and target victim sex/age of the person who attempted to abduct a Huntington Bay girl last October, and who raped a Kings Park girl the same month. As far as anyone knows, it hasn't been in the papers or on News 12, but an announcement was made at harborfields high this morning.(Although the girl was waiting for a bus to a different school). Be careful on the North Shore!

I smell a "My Space" meeting gone bad. I'm sure this is why nothing was mentioned in the media. Monitor your children when they're on the computer, ladies!!(HINT: It's easier to do this if the computer is NOT in the child's bedroom.) DON'T be a buddy. Be annoying, be a spy, be a parent.
