I own a restaurant and ski the hill every year.I live in town and love the area.It's a bummer the lodge burnt down.I went up to the hill last week and took pictures of the new lodge.The new lodge is going to be really nice.From what I hear they will be open by christmas.As a restaurant owner I can speak for everyone by saying this is what the town of fairfield needs GROWTH!!.My buddies and I have had some good times in the old lodge.But like they say....out with old in with the new!!.We have some of the best,freshy powder when it does snow!.It's off the path a little but that's the way we like it.Half the price of baldy and just as much fun.I can't afford a 1,800 dollar pass for Baldy,but I CAN AFFORD TO TAKE THE WHOLE FAMILY FOR ABOUT 500 BUCKS AT SOLDIER!!,FOR THE WHOLE YEAR BY THE WAY.CAN'T WAIT FOR SNOW!!.SEE YA THERE!!....GO BRUCE!!...THE TOWN REALLY NEEDS THIS!!.
