I look everyday everywhere. The bad thing is companys going through temp services they do not allow you to fill out an applacation at there company. But yet not all temps or department of labor are all on the same page. we even went as far as applying for the farm work help and do you think they can call havent in two weeks. And there is a pick an choose thing going on here it doesnt matter what your experiences are. If you got only one place of employement for 17 years like i had in IL that isnt enogh skills yet i have done everything most people wouldnt want to. Not to mention if you have to many jobs like i havent they wont take you because you had to many. And the education thing is a bunch of crap i see people in the unemployement line and at GDL all the time some one needs to get warehouse, factory work right here in warner robins. They have enough land.

You really should look at how WR is expected to grow over the next 5 years and position yourself to meet the growth.
1. Anything Aerospace - Planes, trains and Automobiles !
2. Medical / Health care - Health Tech in WR has great classes to get you started.
3. "Service" - In other words .. some people work so they do not have to cook, take care of the their kids, or clean their houses or yards.. they get other people to do it.

Nothing is certain in WR except CHANGE... your best bet is to try and be ready for it.

GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS

(also, you could try preaching,,, there is money to be made with the Lord )

I've decided to become Mexican so someone will hire me for cheap. That's better than nothing, I suppose.

With this town expanding so fast, where are all these people working? Especially, people who are buying the $200,000 to $1,000,000 homes being built in this town! I have looked for FT and PT work in the clerical field, and NOTHING! Restaurants, convenience stores, and hotels in this area are hiring foreigners! And, it seems that many companies and on RAFB only hires people that are relatives of personnel or someone they know. Very hard getting any kind of decent employment in this town without being a waitress, dish washer, or janitor. Guess I could become a preacher in this town,,,,seems it is a big business to have your own church! Good Luck to newcomers in this town.

You arent the brightest. All you have to do is apply yourself or want something bad enough and the career in mind will be yours. If all you are looking for is a job, then you need to go somewhere else. Warner Robins wants career minded people.

For all those who whine about not being able to find work here is my response. Get out and look, once you put in an application, call your prospective employer back, if you make an appointment be there early, if you have an interview dress appropriately. I currently hold 4 jobs, 1 full time and 3 part time jobs. I never have a day off because my employers can't find anyone who wants to work and be there everyday.
As a manager I review applications everyday and I am sad to say that only about 5% of the applicants I see act like they are interested in actually working.. All of them want the paycheck, almost none of them want to earn it. Listen closely to what isn't being said and you will learn far more than you think.

Oh geez - your obviously an incompetent individual who has no heart for those not born with a silver spoon in there mouth. How about recommending the Hope Scholarship and volunteering to take someone without transportation to school you self centered mothers child? Easy to sit and judge. I am a GS-14 and I volunteer to teach at the Middle Ga. Tech. "Go somewhere else" you say for someone looking for a job, get a grip and get a heart moron!

STOP SITTING ON THE INTERNET WHINNING -
If you work or have been a resident of GA for over a year you can be approved for the HOPE scholarship. At the Mid GA. Tech. College they have the CO-OP program, and if you do well in your academics you can be on working on the base in 6 months. I mean seriously, base employers are not looking out for there own, and they have laws and guild lines governing such. Your speculation does not warrant the truth as you have nothing but rumors and anger to run with. You can apply online for the HOPE scholarship and start college quickly.

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Sagittarius

The rumour mill is especially active, and interesting tales are coming at you from all sides. Don't believe everything you hear: there are people who will start gossip to further their own aims and you don't want to help them unwittingly. Similarly, don't reveal too much of yourself to those who you don't know intimately - keep your own counsel.
