Rutherford Beach

Does anyone know of any lots for sale on Rutherford Beach? I have been trying to buy a lot there for a couple of years but have not made any progress.

Does anyone have property for sale on Rutherford Beach????? Or know of anybody?

I am also looking for a lot for sale at Rutherford Beach. I recently went in fact for Christmas Day and the beach is so beautiful to say that progress in rebuilding camps there seems to have come to a halt. Prior to Hurricane Rita we were looking to purchase and my husband works with Mr. JE Rutherford, who formerly lived right near the road to the beach and he suggested speaking to the one individual with a home there but I didn't have much luck. Came someone give a idea where to go? thanks for the help

I take it no one lives in Cameron Parish anymore?
Or to be more to the point, Creole, Grand Chenier?
Does anyone not care about the beautiful Rutherford Beach anymore enough to comment or help people obtain information? Someone has to have read the previous posts?

Obviously you are not aware that we have suffered two hurricanes in the last 3 years. What Rita didn't get, Ike did. And for the very few that had rebuilt after Rita, Ike got that too. The majority of the people here dont even have a home much less internet or a computer. Another hurricane like Rita or even more, Ike, there wont be a Rutherford Beach

Yes, I am very aware that Rita kicked the rear end of Creole. My husband's best friend moved to Iowa after Rita. Just wondering since everyone lost (as we did for Rita) why it's so hard to find someone with information about property to sell on the beach.

I own the original Rutherford property, we started to rebuild after Rita then Gustov hit,so now we are at a stand-still because of the insurance co. they claim we have no hurricane damage and now with the coastal erosion I don't think we can rebuild that close to the ocean. So I am DESPERATELY looking for a lot for sale. I LOVE and MISS Rutherford Beach we just want to come back HOME

Can't say I blame you - We were interested before the storms and now i have a special needs child who absolutely loves it there We go for the day or for a while. It is just so absolutely peaceful.

I remember before Rita, there were signs from real estate companies with lots for sale but I dont remember which one it was. I just got back to work today so I will check in the morning when I get off and see if anyone has come up with anything. I know alot of people sold their land to Road Home.... good luck to you tho and if you find something out, let the rest of us know. I would like to buy just a small lot to put my rv on every other week while I work.

Before the storms that was also our plan - now that a lot of people haven't come back I thought it would be a lil bit easier to get hold of a realtor or person interested in selling. I appreciate any help I can get from anyone.

Just to let anyone here know how grand of a time my autistic son had here at the beach on Fri, May 22. The water was clear. The beach was clean. The shells were beautiful. If that doesn't make anyone want to come back, we don't know what will. It was a truly awesome day.

Glad your son had a good day. I just hope the beach stays nice and clean. Its so beautiful out there compared to what it was pre-Rita. I wouldnt mind having my own little piece of Heaven out there. I have info lol

With the info I received I am slowly getting somewhere but what I need right now is if someone can find me a company or individual who can remove a flooded driving RV off a piece of property for junk. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

hey email me @ dtrahan@pacecellular.com I have info I won't backstab someone else I may be able to help but where I got my info there are other plots of land that are idle you may be able to get info on with the same lady helping me
