Give me a break! Accident?? Yeah, right! If, and that's a BIG if, it was an accident, WHY did he dump her little body in the woods?? WHY did he LIE and say he dropped her of at her mother's while no one was home? HOW do you accidentally shoot a child in the head? WHY did he have a gun out in the first place, especially around his child? I will NEVER believe that this was an accident!

hy hicppichick was this old boy that killed this defenseless child a user of drugs. There was aother murder of ahild near where I live and the killer was higher than a kite when he beat this kid to death. This killer deserves a trail by jury and a verdict of guilty, then a sentence of what jury says he deserves-no plea bargains. I bet it will be the death sentence. I wonder If he was on drugs at the time of the killing. ON the killer is guilty here But We need the answer of WHY/then we will know the reason. But I bet he is the biggest liar in town of why this happened/ to try to save his butt and have an excuse to evade his guilt to himself. Guilty as produced death row here he comes.

Murder is murder - Adult vs child - doesn't sound like an accident to me. She probably cramped his style. Very sad that you have to have a license to drive but ANYONE can have kids.

My heart goes out to these families. However, if this was an accident, why was the body dumped, why did he tell police he had dropped her off at her mothers. Supposedly Mr. Peoples wife was at the home when this all went down. Why did she not call 911. Again, my heart goes out to the families in this tragic loss, but I am sorry... this does not sound like an accident.

this man, whoa, he is not a man, but a baby killer. He was not even man enough to accept the blame for what he done to this child. he tried to put the blame on the mother and used other excuses for himself. So how could he be a man. He killed her in a gage of madness while using dope. No accident here. just guilty as hell, convict and do the right thing in sentencing him. Death sounds OK!!

What article says that his wife was home when he shot his daughter? If she knew he did that, and did not turn him in, she needs to be charged. Simple as that.

Can you imagine what that child thought when that she saw the gun pointing at her and her wuestion of why and what. and the suprise on her face. Just wait till he is behind the prison walls his meat will be shared by all.

when u shot a 6yr. baby in the head ( from behind) I said from behind. Means Denise could not see matthew, and he did not want her to look him into his down low dirty eyes, just a sorry dog. Then u took her to the woods, dumped the baby in the cold & for the animals to get her . U are just a cold blooded son of a bitch.. On an even sadder note a mother is in terrible denial that her son is a cold-blooded killer. No accident lady...it was completely pre-meditated and that is what the justice system will prove...you will see!

I'm sure his mother is in denial. She probably cannot believe that her granddaughter is dead and her son did it. Look at Casey Anthony's parents. They are just now starting to see what they either didn't want to see, or could not believe. It is normal for a mother to try and defend or protect her child, what isn't normal is what he did.
