Its really sad! i went every summer, and now its the last one. that sucks!

It's sad when another chicago icon disappears, only because of greed, fast money to be made, i would of wished someone would of had common sense and purchased the land and kept the amusement park still active. if only someone could buy land and rent it to the owners of the amusement park, so they can relocate to another arwea of illinois, greed is all that this is about

I think you all have the story wrong. Call the park and you will see its the owners dispute with eachother. 2 want to keep it and 2 want it sold. Its a mother and 3 siblings. Gets the facts straight! Do you have the millions to buy it? |

It sure is ashame that yet again one more place that the people in this area will not be able to enjoy anymore.

This is the only park of it's kind I went slot when I was a kid I'm just glad I got a chance to take my kids this summer it was their first time but we will have the memories 4 ever so long!

Really a shame that family squabbles and greed are the blame for losing a great place for families. The place is historic yet no one seems to care.

I worked at Kiddieland for one summer in 1974. It was my first job. I am now 54 years old. I had fun working there. It's just another piece of my past that has come to an end.
