Police charge coast woman with dumping hot cooking oil on husband

Ouch!

Has this gone to trial yet? I no longer live on the coast and was wondering whatever came of this case. I know here in Georgia it will be at least 2-3 years before a trial, but wasn't sure of Mississippi's court system. Someone please post the outcome when and if it ever goes to trial or a plea offer is taken.

We need to find out causes these and other kinds of bizarre behavior, I would guess there is a common root cause.

Being a mental freak would be a reason for her bizarre behavior.

Yes...she was having an affair with her ex-husband and was using Sherman as a money machine!
She only wanted him for his money and government insurance to keep her "special needs child" medicated.

It sounded like she really only cared about herself.. If there ia a " special needs child " involved there are so many agenices that can and could help this child.. Including SSI.
I could understand if the wife or kids were beat but they werent .. it was premediated. She knew what she was doing... Love so blind.. How are the children.. I hope they are doing o.k. THis is going to be so hard them from now til and til the end of time.

I can tell you first hand that Edna Mae had absoutly no remorse for what she had done.
When she was on the stand she almost had venmon dripping from her lips!
The jury was out almost 2 hours....but it was learned later that they would have returned faster but they wanted to eat lunch.
