Also, while we're at giving kudo's for intelligence, hats off to the Baldwin County School Board for calling off school on a wonderful day to learn - there was plenty of information stating that the effects of the storm would not be felt until late afternoon.
MLD Did you ever consider that it wasn't the kids that wanted to leave early! I guess summer break, Spring break, Christmas break, teachers' day's, Holidays, etc. isn't quite enough time off for those who are supposed to be teaching the kids. Maybe if we gave them the proceeds from an additional 1-cent sales tax, they could enjoy their time away from the classroom even more. |
