Geminid meteors photographed in December 2004 over Texas. For about an hour early Saturday evening, Yolo County emergency services personnel were scrambling to find the site of a plane crash near Zamora north of Woodland.

It was likely a meteor from the Taurid Meteor Shower. I caught this bright Taurid fireball meteor last night (Saturday 11/07) at 10:20PM over Western Arkansas.
