yep, true. Taylor Brothers was in Guilford. You could buy milk, groceries and things for your car. We used to walk over from Guilford school through the covered bridge (saved!) and also the Taylor family's swinging bridge across the creek.
This was as recent as 1959. Guilford looks funny today, with the great looking post office and just a church or two. All else, just not there. |
