EARL and the Voice is the best thing that has happened to Buchanan County in the past 75 years. You have no idea how it has put the corrupt politicians and officials on GUARD and trying to cover up their dirty dealings.The only thing he needs is more help from the citizens to help clean up this county. I've personally watched the crooks blood run cold when they hear his name. I get a pleasure watching them squirm afraid Earl will find out something on them and send them to JAIL.I like it when people are giving Earl hell because it tells me he is doing something right. Earl has shown true grit to stand up for the people of Buchanan County and Tazewell County and we are better of because of him and his wife.Yes I do know him and have for a few years.I think Earl is an Independent Conservative, because he makes both parties uneasy.The only reason the Republicans are in the Voice is because they want to be heard, since Jay Rife quit because he couldn't stand the heat the Democrats don't have a voice in the paper.The Virginia mountaineer is the paper of the crooks in Grundy.Earl is to independent,he won't let none of us crooks run his paper.

The school broad hates him because he keep exposing their dirty little secerts. Like currently all the principals are sueing the school broad and each could win up to 2 million dollar which come right out of the school budget. All because poor leadrship and bad choices from people who should have retired 10 years ago or more. There is also half a million dollar missing from the food budgets. The school is showing the signs of mismanagement. And the ones that suffer for this is the students.

It's a sad commentary on the state of higher education at ASL when a sutdent getting ready to graduate apparently doesn't know or understand the meaning of gossip. What do I call being on Topix? Usually a waste of time but occasionally a harmless means of entertainment. I'm on Topix but I'm not gossiping although I'm being critical of you and your statements. Criticism and opinion are not necessarily synonomous with gossip. My reasons for visiting this site don't equate with gossip. Believe it or not there is the occasional interesting and informative debate/discussion on this site. Yes, they're mixed in with the idiotic polls and personal attacks but they are present.

I could not agree with you more. I also visit Topix for reasons other than gossip. Just because an ASL student thinks they know more than anyone else around here, doesn't mean they know everything. Also calling the person Dumby in a previous post was very unprofessional. That is what starts the idiotic discussions here.
