Unions are made up of people. People vote. That's beside my point. My point is, if Puckett is against coal why would he be getting the support of coal unions? Make any sense to you? Shouldn't Light get that endorsement? C'mon use your brain....if you have one.

Makes you wonder why all the coal companies are supporting Puckett instead of Light. Here is a link to all the contributions to both candidates...

http://www.vpap.org/candidates/profile/home/3...

Adam Light has done survey work for all these companies and yet not one of them is supporting him.

I think Puckett serves his district well, if you're from Russell or Tazewell County.

So you're telling me Alpha Natural Resources, Jewell, United & Consol already have all their permits? Nope. Don't think so well they all donated money to Puckett not Light. That tells me all I need to know. If Obama was against coal like you all claim then why is coal production at it's highest? Why are there are ads on tv asking for miners to come get jobs? It's all bull crap. Obama is not anti-coal. Cap and trade never went through and wasn't even proposed by him it was Republican idea.

Adam Light is one of the biggest supporters of what he calls Social Security and Medicare Over haul. In other words he is one of the biggest supporters of taking it away from us. The Coal Companies knows that if he is elected it will mean nothing less than starvation and probably death to people on SS and Medicare.Almost everybody has an elderly rlative on SS and Medicare. That is why the coal companies aren't supporting him even though he supports coal. Forget about coal right now. We can do without our coal being mined a lot better than we can losing every penny we have if he helps support taking SS benifits and Medicare away.

I believe Phillip Puckett is a good representative. He is willing to listen to what his constituents. He is supportive of coal, education and many other things that are important to our section of Virginia. He has my vote.

I doubt you even know the meaning of the word socialist. So here is it is for you if you will even read it but I know you will only see one word in it and not the rest of the words.

you are right he is a good respectable christian man and and one of the nicest men you would ever want to meet butt,,,he is not political material, you cannot be a true christian person and be in politics.First off the main reason I dont like him ,,he needs to stick to trying to get some work in this this area for the people. He has no interest but to try to stick his nose in peoples medical business.I think if a person goes to a doctor and the doctor checks them and prescribes medication for a person, tells them to take it as directed,it is not the doctors fault if they dont and overdose,,you cant blame the doctors if they have paperwork and test results proving that this person has illnesses that the meds.are prescribed to help ease their pain.My main concern is that ALL the elected people need to try to get work in southwest Va. for the people.I dont see anything for the people or the kids that are going to college and get educated to do.I do know that he has 2 children that are on the Russell County payroll and that is part of the problem. All the high paying county jobs are kept in families that goes back for generations, like Randy Williams,,look how long him and his wife worked side by side in the same office and was taking home around or more than $200.000 a year and clearly that was against the law, what did they do they gently slid his wife over to the clerks office. This is what is wrong the politicians are more concerned to get their own families in these high paying jobs rather than try to get some kind of industry for the real people in the county that has to pay the high taxes to pay their salaries and to hell with the people that got laid off and had to sell their homes and let their cars etc.get repoed.Do you think they ever worry about that. They only think about what kind of lie they can come up with to get re-elected to their high paying jobs.I think Russell County needs to clean house and come together and let them hunt a new job or better yet,,take a cut in their salaries until they get work in the area for the people.
